What's a good way to get Emma Roberts to scream? Just tell her that '90s hearthrob Jonathan Taylor Thomas is in the building.
The Scream Queens gushed about her childhood crush on Thomas, who starred in Home Improvement from 1991-1998, during a visit to Live with Kelly & Michael Thursday.

Fear not, bewildered Scream Queens fans – the show's cast is just as unsure who the Red Devil is as you are.
In her cover interview for the November issue of Teen Vogue, Emma Roberts admits that, almost halfway through the season, showrunner Ryan Murphy is still keeping the violent killer's identity under wraps.
"None of us know how the show ends. We don't know who the killer is; we don't even know who's going to live and who's going to die," says the actress, 24. "Apparently only four people will go on to season 2."

Scream Queens is like AHS taking a Mentos break.
The show is set on a college campus, which keeps it close to contemporary teen-slasher movies (and parodies of teen-slasher movies). If your memory goes back far enough and low enough, you may find yourself even thinking of the 1973 TV movie Satan's School for Girls – or, more recently, the 2000 remake with Shannen Doherty.

Ryan Murphy's latest candy-colored romp, Scream Queens debuts on Fox Tuesday night, and while the horror-comedy – which stars Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis and Lea Michele – is uniquely fresh ode to slasher flicks, it follows in the footsteps of many films and TV shows that paid homage to college Greek life.
While there's a rich history of sororities as horror settings (consider Black Christmas, Sorority Massacre, Sorority Row and The House on Sorority Row), we'll let you explore those ill-fated organizations on your own – if you dare.
Instead, in the darkly humorous spirit of the Queens behold some of our picks for favorite (and funniest) members of film and TV's Pan-Hellenic Council.

Though Roberts, 24, walked the red carpet at Monday night's premiere with her sister, she sat with Peters, 28, inside the screening, and the on-again, off-again couple seemed inseparable throughout the night. The former American Horror Story costars were the last to leave the party at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles, and Peters goofily photobombed a picture Roberts took with a fan.
