Bella Swan may have given her heart to Edward Cullen, but it seems Twilight fans would've picked Jacob Black!

In AOL's Just So You Know Awards – an online poll in which the site's tween and teen readers voted for their favorite stars – New Moon's resident werewolf, Taylor Lautner, beat out immortal vampire Robert Pattinson by nabbing 56 percent of the votes in the categories of favorite male movie star and cool guy you'd like to hang out with.

The Twilight Saga's leading lady, Kristen Stewart, also proved a fan favorite, besting Harry Potter's Emma Watson and Transformers star Megan Fox to be named favorite female movie star.

Emma Watson Stalked While Visiting Harvard

Originally posted 10/01/2009 01:45PM

Harvard University students have good reason to be, well, crimson.

Kids from the Ivy League school are being lambasted after a boorish prank in which they stalked Harry Potter hottie Emma Watson at a football game between their school and hers, Brown University.

Watson, 19, was in Cambridge, Mass., to cheer on her team (Harvard beat Brown 24-21), but the defeat was the least of her worries: The actress had to be flanked by security guards to keep gawkers and stalkers away, the New York Post reports.

The instigators were reportedly students who worked at Harvard Voice magazine. "We will be Live-Tweetin' the game and possibly stalking Emma Watson, so keep your eyes peeled for that, too!" the magazine's Twitter feed read.

"I've finally arrived at Brown University and I'm having the most amazing time," she says. "I'm still so excited to be here; I've already met so many incredible people."

You think Emma Watson won the coveted role of Harry Potter's pal Hermione Granger just because of her talent and beauty?

Actually, it turns out magic was always in her blood – the British actress can trace her roots back to a real-life woman accused of witchcraft in the 16th century.

According to genealogist Anastasia Tyler of Ancestry.com, the 19-year-old actress is a distant relative of Joan Playle of Essex County, England, who was convicted of witchcraft in 1592 and excommunicated from the Church of England.

So that's why the public finds Watson so enchanting …

Emma Watson is similar to her Harry Potter alter ego Hermione Granger in at least one way: Her pursuit of her studies.

Watson, 19, will be attending Brown University in Providence, R.I., she confirmed to Paste magazine, saying, "I am [going to university in the Fall] – to Brown, which is an Ivy League establishment in the U.S.A. I've got a place there to read literature."

Ever since Watson went on a tour of Ivy League schools in October, speculation has circulated about where she was going to college. Rumors included Yale and Cambridge, and the U.K. publication The Daily Mail recently linked her to Columbia University.

Emma Watson can't wait to head to the U.S. for college this fall but has one requirement for her roommate: no diehard fans.

"As long as there are no Harry Potter posters on the wall, I will be fine and happy," Watson, 19, told PEOPLE at the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince press conference in New York Thursday. "Oh God, it's part luck, isn't it. We'll see."

Daniel Radcliffe, however, saw an opportunity to tease his costar. "I really hope they are a really massive Harry Potter fan," joked Radcliffe. "I hope you walk in and the first thing you see is your face on a duvet."

Emma Watson Plans U.S. College – Minus Scary Spring Break

It's no secret Emma Watson – a.k.a. Hermione Granger in Harry Potter's world – wants a degree from an American college, preferably an Ivy League school like Brown. At U.S. universities "you're encouraged to be broad and choose many different subjects," the U.K.-bred actress tells this month's Interview magazine.

But there's a American-college ritual that the star, 19, currently at work on the seventh and eighth installments of Harry Potter, plans to skip: a crazy spring break on a sunny beach.

Though her Harry Potter costar Daniel Radcliffe has bared all in London and New York stage productions of Equus, Hermione Granger is content to remain the clean-cut belle of Hogwarts.

"I have no plans to do anything for the sake of it, or to shock people," the actress, 18, tells the U.K.'s Mail on Sunday's Live magazine.

"I might be willing to take my clothes off for a Bernardo Bertolucci film, if it was a part that really made sense as part of my character. But I wouldn't do it just to make a point, to move on from Hermione."

Harry Potter star Emma Watson is ready to trade acting for academia – and the brainy beauty is even considering some American colleges.

"There are excellent universities over there [in the U.S.] and I'm applying at the moment," she told Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper. "If I go to America, I would do a liberal arts program."

Emma Watson: 'It's Hard' to Grow Up on Screen

Playing Hermione isn't as spellbinding as it seems. Emma Watson says she has struggled during her journey from 9-year-old child actress to 18-year-old movie star.

"In a way, it's hard to grow up inside a film. I lived a period of my life that is full of lessons and changes under the spotlight," the Harry Potter actress tells Vogue Italy.

"People have the strange feeling of knowing me intimately because they have seen my transformation from child to woman, albeit only on screen."
