Six-month-old Maxwell Drew Johnson just couldn't decide – so she went with both, Jessica Simpson Tweeted Wednesday.

The Fashion Star mentor, 32, shared family Halloween photos of her daughter being toted by fiancé Eric Johnson on her website, commenting, "Maxwell wanted to be a monkey too."

New moms make huge sacrifices. Just ask Jessica Simpson.

"Responsibility has drastically changed my life!" she wrote on Twitter. "Saturday night drink of choice.... WATER!"

Punctuated with a happy face, the singer-turned-fashion mogul's Tweet implies she's not missing any other beverages, though that wasn't always the case.

"I'm a free-spirited girl, but giving up my scotch? My Macallan 18? That was hard for me!" Simpson, who turned 32 last month, told ELLE of getting pregnant with her first child, daughter Maxwell Drew.

Jessica Simpson is getting ready to celebrate her first Mother's Day after giving birth to her daughter, Maxwell Drew, last week – and the Fashion Star judge couldn't be happier.

"I am so in love with baby Maxwell," Simpson, 31, Tweeted Tuesday. "I want to cry every time I look at her. Motherhood is by far the best thing I've ever experienced."

The first-time mom isn't the only one doting over the new addition to the Simpson family.

A Very Pregnant Jessica Simpson Walks Down the Aisle – at a Friend's Wedding

After celebrating their baby shower last weekend, Jessica Simpson and fiancé Eric Johnson had another busy weekend at the Palm Springs wedding of Simpson's friend and former assistant, Lauren Zelman, to Breaking In actor Bret Harrison.

The wedding festivities started on Friday with a rehearsal dinner at Las Casuelas Nuevas restaurant in Rancho Mirage. Wearing a floor-length emerald-green dress with jeweled platform sandals, "Jessica looked stunning," a source tells PEOPLE. "She was moving very slowly and Eric held on to her tightly so she wouldn't trip in her shoes." The singer gave a toast to the couple, and "everyone seemed to have fun," the source continues.

On Saturday, Simpson and her sister Ashlee were bridesmaids in the sunset wedding ceremony, which took place in the garden at the Parker Hotel.

According to an eyewitness, "Jessica was escorted down the aisle by a wedding coordinator so she wouldn't fall. It was difficult for her to get around, but she was a great sport and kept smiling. Everyone at the wedding was doting on Jessica and seemed very understanding. And Lauren seemed very happy that Jessica was able to be a part of her wedding. "

Also in the bridal party was Ashlee's 3-year-old son Bronx Wentz. "Bronx was the ring bearer," the eyewitness adds. "He broke down in tears several times, but Ashlee was great and kept making him smile again."

Other wedding guests included actors Adam Brody and Josh Schwartz, who were groomsmen, plus Simpson's best friend CaCee Cobb and her fiancé, Donald Faison. – Pernilla Cedenheim

Set to deliver a baby girl this spring, Jessica Simpson says her daughter made her presence known early on – just before a roadtrip, in fact.

"We were going to [go] all-day drinking..." the Fashion Star mentor tells ELLE of her and fiancé Eric Johnson's planned drive to Venice Beach, Calif.

"Ride our bikes, hang out. But I started feeling this overwhelming guilt. Why would I feel guilt at the idea of going out and having cocktails with my friends?"

With an inkling that something was off, Simpson, 31, took a home pregnancy test – and discovered she was expecting. Instantly, her life changed.
