Ethan Hawke Meets Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili

Ethan Hawke got a chance to briefly meet Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, when they both attended the Silk Road Transatlantic Alliance Party at the Greenwich Hotel in Manhattan Sept. 24.
"I was very curious about him," Hawke told PEOPLE. "I've been doing a tremendous amount of research about that whole region during The Coast of Utopia (a play about the Russian Revolution) last year. And I'm going to be doing the (Russian play) Cherry Orchard with Sam Mendes. We're going to travel the world with it so I was curious to come here tonight. He's very impressive."

Ethan Hawke & His Wife Have a Girl

Ethan Hawke is a father for the third time, his rep confirms to PEOPLE.
The actor and author's wife, Ryan Shawhughes, gave birth to Clementine Jane Hawke on Friday in New York City.
"They are thrilled," Hawke's rep, Mara Buxbaum, said when news of the pregnancy was first announced.
"I expect that they should be very good parents," a close family member told PEOPLE Wednesday. "They both love children, and they love each other ... I know they are thrilled."
Hawke, 37, and Shawhughes – former nanny to Hawke's son and daughter with Uma Thurman – married in June in a small ceremony in New York City.

Ethan Hawke Marries Girlfriend Ryan Shawhughes

Ethan Hawke and girlfriend Ryan Shawhughes were married three weeks ago, a source close to the actor has confirmed to PEOPLE.
Hawke – already the father of two children with his ex-wife Uma Thurman – and the pregnant Shawhughes, described as the former nanny to his children, are also expecting a baby girl, according to the source.
"They were married last month in New York City," according to Hawke's rep, Mara Buxbaum. "No further details are available."
In late January of this year, Buxbaum said, "I can confirm [the couple are expecting] and they are thrilled."

Ethan Hawke to Become a Father, Again

Ethan Hawke – already the father of two children with his ex-wife Uma Thurman – is about to become a father again, this time with Ryan Shawhughes, described as the former nanny to his children.
"I can confirm and they are thrilled," says Hawke's rep Mara Buxbaum. "No further details will be made available."
Speaking in December 2006 about the joys of fatherhood, the 37-year-old actor-author said, that his two children with Thurman – daughter Maya, now 9, and son Levon, 5 – provide "the greatest pleasure in my life. It's the only role that, if I fail, I will consider my life a failure."

"I'll probably be falling down drunk in the back," he joked Monday morning on Live With Regis & Kelly about his upcoming premiere of Things We Want, the first play he has directed Off-Broadway. "It's so nerve-racking."
