[YOUTUBE "imW392e6XR0"] Jimmy Kimmel brought back his fantastic Celebrities Read Mean Tweets About Themselves segment Wednesday night, with a shocking twist. This time, a surprising number of the mean Tweets were actually ... good?
Sure, there were the requisite amounts of unfathomable abuse – why does Andy Garcia, of all people, have haters? – and impenetrable obscenities (particularly the ones aimed at Matthew McConaughey). But other Tweets showed a heretofore-unobserved level of wit that made their targets suppress a chuckle. Even David Blaine thought that David Blaine joke was pretty solid!

What happens when you get Sandra Bullock, Matthew McConaughey and Julia Roberts in the same room?
PEOPLE found out for you at Monday's Hollywood Film Awards – and we had a photo booth to document all of the behind-the-scenes action at the Beverly Hilton.
Among the first to work it for the cameras: Hollywood Supporting Actor Award honoree Jake Gyllenhaal, who was recognized for his work in Prisoners. Next up? Before Midnight costars (and Hollywood Screenwriter Award recipients) Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy, who were photo-bombed by none other than Jack Black. (Aren't you glad what happens in the photo booth doesn't stay in the photo booth?)

As she gets older, Ethan Hawke's daughter Maya Ray is a great help to her father.
"Maya is about to be 12, so she's getting pretty good with the baby," said Hawke, referring to his and wife Ryan Shawhughes's 19-month-old, Clementine.
And Hawke, like any busy parent, could use the extra hand. Besides being dad to three – his other child is son Levon Roan, 8 – Hawke, 39, plays a crooked cop in the new movie Brooklyn's Finest and has directed a new New York revival of Sam Shepard's 1985 A Lie of the Mind, which is both critically acclaimed and sold-out.
Speaking to PEOPLE at Tuesday's Manhattan premiere of Brooklyn's Finest, Hawke said that adjusting his schedule can be difficult. "Anybody who is a parent who wants to have a professional life knows that," Hawke says. "It's a struggle ... always a balance."
