Felicity Huffman Admits Madonna's Thong Didn't Fit

When Desperate Housewives' Felicity Huffman made her Broadway debut in David Mamet's Speed-the-Plow in 1988, she made an interesting discovery in her dressing room: A thong belonging to Madonna.
"I was like, 'This is Madonna's underwear," she tells More Magazine in its September issue.
So what did she do? She promptly tried it on! "Of course, it didn't fit me," she says.

How has Felicity Huffman stayed balanced in the days leading up to Oscars night? Pampering. The Best Actress nominee for Transamerica rewarded herself at the Diamond Aquifer Mystical Retreat at the exclusive SoHo House in the Hollywood Hills, where she tried on jewels and indulged in spa treatments. "I'm getting a pedicure and a facial. I'm going to walk out of here looking like Scarlett Johansson," she told us.

Felicity Huffman experienced her own gender-bending confusion playing a man who's undergoing a sex change in the upcoming film Transamerica. Take, for example, a visit to a women's bathroom toward the end of the shoot. "I said, 'Oh, I'm not supposed to be in here,' " she recalls. "Then I walked out and thought to myself, 'No, no I'm a girl.' And I walked back in again and I thought, 'No, I'm not.' It took me two times until I went, 'Yes, I can go in.'"

Hilary Duff's 18th birthday celebration got under way early – before she was even awake. "I was sleeping and my friends jumped on me and brought me Starbucks," says the singer-actress of her 8:30 a.m. wake-up "call" on Sept. 28. Then her pals took her to breakfast in a custom-decorated SUV. "My friend painted all over her car. She put this huge star on the windshield so when I sat in the car my head went right there. It was really funny."

Desperate Housewives Take Over The View

ADDED: Desperate Housewives stars Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria, Nicollette Sheridan, Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross will each spend a day during the week of Feb. 7 co-hosting ABC's The View while the show broadcasts from Disney's El Capitan Theater in Hollywood. The Wisteria Lane residents will be filling in for show moderator Meredith Vieira, who will not be making the trip out West from New York because of family obligations, says the network.
