January 27, 2004BEAUTY AND THE BOOKS... Long before she began kicking butt on Alias, Jennifer Garner had a different kind of dream: "I wanted to be a librarian," she tells PEOPLE.com. "I worked in the library every day after school." The actress, 31, shared these thoughts while hosting the I Have a Dream Foundation's Sixth Annual Gospel Brunch at L.A.'s House of Blues. (The Foundation "adopts" first-grade classes and mentors the students all the way through high school graduation.) "I just spoke to a little girl who wants to be an astronaut," Garner said. "And with the Dreamers' help, she can be."
