Angie Harmon once skinny-dipped with her husband, Jason Sehorn, on a private beach in Bora Bora. But now the Women's Murder Club star is stripping down in front of the entire world. Harmon is one of five celebs – including Gabrielle Union, Jill Scott, Zoe McLellan and Ana Ortiz – who shed their clothes in Allure's May issue.

And Harmon says the photo shoot isn't about selling sex, "It's about showing the female body in a positive, beautiful way." And singer-actress Jill Scott agrees, telling the magazine she hopes her pictorial inspires other women. "Here I am, naked in a magazine at size 16 ... We are all beautiful, each and every one of us."

Trying to decide whether to shop for a new dress or donate more to help the tsunami victims in South Asia? Worry no more. Malcolm in the Middle star Jane Kaczmarek and husband Bradley Whitford (The West Wing) once again have gotten lots of top-shelf stars to donate their Golden Globes looks, to be auctioned off via their organization Clothes Off Our Back – and this year, proceeds benefit the UNICEF Tsunami Relief Fund. Nominee Kate Winslet (for best actress in a film comedy for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) has agreed to donate her gown, as have Desperate Housewives' Marcia Cross and Felicity Huffman (both up for best actress in a TV comedy). Looking for something more mature? Nominees Blythe Danner (for best actress in a TV movie for Back When We Were Grownups) and William Shatner (for best supporting actor in a TV series for Boston Legal) are also donating their togs. Warm up your wallets: The auction begins Monday on the Clothes Off Our Back Web site.

Breakin' Up with Gabrielle

Originally posted 04/27/2004 9:00AM

Though Jamie Foxx's character in the upcoming romantic comedy Breakin' All the Rules (due May 14) pens a book about leaving a significant other, in real life, costar Gabrielle Union has her own sage advice on the subject. "My first tip is not to use random excuses like, 'It's not you – it's me' or 'We're going in opposite directions.' You leave people wondering for years and it carries over into their next relationship," Union, 31, tells Daily Insider. "If you were just honest and said, 'I started hating the way you dressed' or 'I can't stand the fact that your mother calls every morning and you actually take the calls,' then they can go into the next relationship with a clear conscience. The second thing? Change your numbers. Cut off all contact. You have to go cold turkey and allow the other person to not be able to linger. That desire to just have one little roll in the sack, (it) won't hurt – yes, it will. Finally, out of kindness, don't debut your new date in areas where you run the risk of running into your ex. It's just evil." Well, okay. Did you get all that?

Daily Insider for April 2, 2004

Originally posted 04/01/2004 3:50PM

April 2, 2004THE PERILS OF STARDOM ... So what's it really like working with Colin Farrell? We asked Rosario Dawson, who recently finished shooting Alexander with the Irish bad-boy. "He's really professional," Dawson, 24, said at a charity event for the Lower Eastside Girls Club in New York. "A lot of times we think he's a flash-in-the-pan kind of actor who just had a good moment, but he's really talented. He gives a lot. We were doing 16-hour days, six-day weeks and he got no sleep. I think he's undermined by all of the rumors that go on with him." One of those rumors, of course, involved fellow Alexander star Angelina Jolie. "Colin and Angelina are two of the most written-about people in the world," said Dawson. "I don't normally go into a film already having feelings about somebody that I don't know, and I had that a lot with them. ... It only annoys me because really getting to know him and how talented he is I feel how robbed he is. Now the whole six months is only wrapped on who he f---ed. I really think he did so much more than just f--- Angelina. That's terrible."
