Suspect in Robyn Gardner Disappearance Arrested for Indecent Exposure

Gary Giordano, who had been held for four months in the disappearance of Robyn Gardner in Aruba, was arrested in Maryland after he was found naked with another woman in the back of a Cadillac Escalade, police say.
Giordano, 51, and a woman identified as Carol Bock, 45, of Tennessee were arrested for investigation of indecent exposure after they were discovered by Annapolis police responding to a call of possible sexual activity in a car in a parking garage last Friday evening.
When officers shined a light through an SUV window, the pair were seen lying naked on a mattress in the rear cargo area with a blanket hanging "in what appeared to be an attempt to conceal their activity,” say charging documents reported by the Washington Times.

Robyn Gardner's Boyfriend, Family Frustrated as Gary Giordano Is Freed

With Gary Giordano, the main suspect in the case, freed on Tuesday, family and friends of Robyn Gardner, who went missing in Aruba almost four months ago, have spoken of their frustration at still not having any answers.
"We still don't know where Robyn is, and that's the issue I'm concerned with most," Gardner's boyfriend, Richard Forester, tells PEOPLE. "I am hopeful that the U.S. authorities will be able to find some answers from the computers and phones as to what happened and hopefully that will lead to finding Robyn."
Forester admitted he was still working out how he felt about the release of Giordano, Gardner's traveling partner, whom Aruban authorities consider a prime suspect.

A man held since August in the disappearance of Robyn Gardner in Aruba was freed Tuesday. A judge had told prosecutors they had no right to detain him any longer.
Gary Giordano, who was Gardner's traveling partner, left the jail with his lawyers and is free to travel off of the island, the Associated Press reports.
Giordano was detained after Gardner went missing on Aug. 2. He claimed she never returned from a snorkeling trip they took together. Prosecutors have questioned his story, and he has been detained while they investigate.

Jose Baez tells PEOPLE he will represent Gary Giordano, the man suspected in the disappearance of Robyn Gardner in Aruba.
Giordano, 50, has been held without charges for over a month since he reported the disappearance of Gardner, 35, with whom he was vacationing on the Caribbean island. He reported her missing on Aug. 2.
In July, Baez successfully defended Casey Anthony, who was acquitted of murdering her daughter Caylee.
After the not-guilty verdict, Baez, who had only been practicing law for three years before taking Anthony's case, told Barbara Walters, "After I heard 'not guilty,' I had a moment. I thought, 'My life is going to start to change.' "

Newly unearthed video from a surveillance camera in Aruba shows Robyn Gardner visiting a restaurant with Gary Giordano late in the afternoon on the day she went missing.
The surveillance tape, portions of which were aired Monday on NBC's Today show, features footage of Gardner and Giordano arriving at the beachfront eatery at 3:07 p.m. on Aug. 2.
He is seen walking a few step in front of her, in a black short-sleeve shirt, khaki shorts and white sneakers. She appears carefree in a striped sun dress, high heels, black sunglasses and a black shoulder bag. Both are carrying blue plastic cups, which witnesses have said contained vodka and orange juice.

Gary Giordano will remained confined for another two months in Aruba while authorities continue to try to question him about missing Robyn Gardner.
A judge ordered the 60-day extension Wednesday during a closed-door hearing.
Giordano, 50, has been held without charges for nearly a month since he reported the disappearance of Gardner, 35, during a trip they were taking to the Caribbean island.

Gary Giordano, the man suspected in the disappearance of traveling companion Robyn Gardner in Aruba, "is not a monster," his father said on Tuesday's Today show.
"The least I can do is stand up for my son and tell the world that what they've been hearing about him is not true," Frank Giordano, 80, said on the NBC program.
Frank Giordano also released family photos of Gary, including some with his three sons (their faces masked for privacy), to display the "other side" of the man he says has been vilified by the press.
"I would like to show … the side that shows Gary as a good human being who's good to his family and good to his friends," Frank Giordano says. "I know he would not be able to kill someone."

Aruba Case: Last Known Photo of Missing Woman

The scene is captured in a photograph obtained by ABC News, believed to be the last known picture of Robyn Gardner before she disappeared on Aug. 2 during a trip to the Caribbean island with Gary Giordano.
Although her face is away from the camera, Gardner is identified as the woman in the photo by her boyfriend Richard Forester, who tells ABC that he recognizes her favorite dress.

New Aruba Witness: They Weren't Snorkeling

While Gary Giordano has told police that traveling companion Robyn Gardner disappeared in Aruba after the two had gone snorkeling, a fisherman who saw them contradicts Giordano's claim.
The witness says the couple took a walk along the reef at 4 p.m. and then drove away a short time later without going into the water, reports ABC News.
"We're investigating that material, seeing the relevance to the investigation," said Aruba Solicitor General Taco Stein.
Last week, Giordano, 50, was ordered to remain in an Aruban jail for another 16 days while police investigate what they call "serious inconsistencies" in his story about the Aug. 2 disappearance of Gardner, 35. Police on the Caribbean island presume the Maryland woman is dead.
