Originally posted 02/29/2012 02:15PM
George Clooney is comfortable in his own skin.
The actor, whose Oscar date was girlfriend Stacy Keibler, doesn't "give a s–––" if people think he isn't straight.
"I'm not going to make it seem like being gay is a bad thing," he tells The Advocate.
"My private life is private, and I'm very happy in it. Who does it hurt if someone thinks I'm gay? I'll be long dead and there will still be people who say I was gay."

Oscar night celebrated some of the best movies of the past year. But are you ready for the greatest film ever made?
Jimmy Kimmel put together this amusing teaser for Movie: The Movie – his tongue-in-cheek attempt at making the most star-studded, spectacular film America has ever seen. Or at least, the trailer for it.
The stars are almost too numerous to count – Best Actress winner Meryl Streep, George Clooney, Tom Hanks, Charlize Theron, Matt Damon, Cameron Diaz, John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Colin Farrell and the list goes on and on, while the plot is too hilariously clichéd to be believed.

Walking the red carpet outside Los Angeles's Hollywood and Highland Center for the 84th annual Academy Awards, The Descendants star's date, girlfriend Stacy Keibler, seemed to be channeling Oscar himself.
Keiber, whom Clooney first stepped out with this summer, dazzled in a gold Marchesa gown that seemed inspired by the trophy Academy Award winners take home.

In this year's Best Actor category, the snubs may have gotten more attention than the actual nominees.
Many Oscar-watchers thought Michael Fassbender would be nominated for Shame, Leonardo DiCaprio for J. Edgar and Ryan Gosling for The Ides of March. But none of those heartthrobs made the cut.
Instead, George Clooney (The Descendants) is pitted against is his good pal Brad Pitt (Moneyball), The Artist's breakout star Jean Dujardin, character actor Gary Oldman and Demián Bichir for A Better Life.

Jessica Biel, Jason Bateman and More Slated for Jimmy Kimmel Oscar Afterparty
Originally posted 02/16/2012 04:35PM
Oprah Winfrey is not the only big star staying up late after the Oscars next Sunday. PEOPLE has learned that there are even more celebrities joining Jimmy Kimmel's seventh post-Oscar special!
Jessica Biel, new dad (again) Jason Bateman, JJ Abrams, Steven Tyler, Tyler Perry, Edward Norton, Colin Farrell and Ryan Philippe are on board for the show's big bit "Movie the Movie."
Given the show's history, it's promising – even if Samuel L. Jackson has choice words for those potentially involved (ABC previously announced Meryl Streep, George Clooney and Tom Hanks.) Check out a very bleeped teaser here: Moviethemovie.com.
It should come as no surprise that the skit will push the envelope. Kimmel's annual special has produced LOL-worthy comedy pieces in the past including "F*@#ing Ben Affleck," "Handsome Men's Club," "Hottie Body Hump Club" and "Tom Hanks's Toddlers in Tiaras".

George Clooney: My Pig Made Me Laugh
Originally posted 02/10/2012 05:00PM
George Clooney has made no secret of his love for his dog, Einstein. But during a recent episode of CBS' Person to Person, the actor opened up about his other famous pet, pot-bellied pig Max, who died in 2006.
"Pigs are really smart. And he was funny, and he made me laugh," he told Charlie Rose. "But they're work, because they'll destroy everything if you let them."
Clooney purchased Max as a piglet back in 1988 as a gift for then-girlfriend Kelly Preston. When the pair split, Clooney continued to raise the Max, who shared more than just a roof over their heads.

Brad Pitt Claims He Was the Original Prankster – Not George Clooney

George Clooney recently revealed that he has a career-ending prank up his sleeve for Brad Pitt – but Pitt is already thinking up his own retaliation.
In an interview with James Lipton on Bravo's Inside the Actors Studio (Feb. 10, 8 p.m. ET), Pitt says he's the one who actually started their practical joke war in the first place.
Back when the two were filming one of the Oceans 11 movies in Italy, Pitt says that Clooney received surprisingly deferential treatment from the film crew. The reason? A note Pitt sent on Clooney's behalf.

See how one of the world's top film stars lives – away from the spotlight.
George Clooney has opened up his Los Angeles home to CBS News, showing off his kitchen (where he orders dinner), his screening room and bar, for a revival of the classic celebrities-at-home program Person to Person, made famous in the 1950s by Edward R. Murrow.
Along with his palatial digs, the Oscar winner, 50, also introduces viewers to a very special friend – his roommate Einstein, a black cocker spaniel whom he rescued in 2010. "The dog came in and threw himself at me," Clooney recalls, "and I find that works also with some actors."
