George Lopez knows his public intoxication arrest is no laughing matter. Still, the comedian couldn't resist making himself the butt of his own jokes on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
"Well, you know, apparently I'm a bigger Justin Bieber fan than I thought I was," Lopez, 52, cracked during Thursday's episode. "But you know how they always say whatever happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but whatever happens in Canada, everybody knows."

Eva Longoria has worked with a lot of big stars – and experience has made her picky about who she collaborates with in Hollywood.
"Life's so short," the actress, 37, told PEOPLE Monday. "You should be surrounded by people who make each other better people."
One of her favorite folks to work with, she says, is George Lopez, 51, who happens to be her co-host at the Latin community's ALMA Awards, airing Sept. 21.
"We're in a stage in our lives where we've done a lot in our careers and we work with people we want to work with," the former Desperate Housewives star says of herself and Lopez.

George Lopez may be in transition again – his TBS talk show was canceled this week – but he knows he can always count on one close friend in particular: Sandra Bullock.
"If it wasn't for her involvement in me, or her belief in me, I would have had a very different last 10 years," Lopez, 50, told PEOPLE Wednesday at Dodger Stadium, where he threw out the first pitch to promote MasterCard's support of Stand Up 2 Cancer.
Lopez didn't speak about TBS's decision – Lopez Tonight will end its almost two-year run on Thursday – but he made it clear that without Bullock, he may never have made it to late night TV at all.

When it comes to George Lopez calling Kirstie Alley a pig, it sounds like the actress has the last laugh.
On Wednesday's Lopez Tonight the talk show host poked fun at Alley, saying she "did a nice job, her little hooves tapping away" on Dancing with the Stars. Lopez later apologized – but Alley was not so quick to forgive and forget.
First, Lopez Tweeted saying, "I misjudged the joke. No malice was intended and I apologize to Kirstie."
But Alley, 60, did some Tweeting of her own: "@GeorgeLopez I don't need or want ur apology," she wrote. "I want your kidney dude..on behalf of ur X and all the women uv insulted...give it back." (Lopez's wife, Ann, famously donated a kidney to her husband. The couple split five years later.)

Looks like there may be another Kardashian to keep up with: Meet Kougar Kardashian.
Joining Kim, 29, Khloé, 26, and Kourtney, 31, on stage at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards Sunday night, "the fourth" Kardashian sister wasn't actually lady at all. Nope, it was George Lopez in drag.
Khloé later Tweeted about her new sibling, writing, "we love our long lost sister!"

Comedian George Lopez has declared himself "a proud uncle" now that the cat’s out of the bag on his pal Sandra Bullock's secret adoption.
"I am a proud uncle and [my wife] Ann is a proud aunt," Lopez told PEOPLE before hitting the links at his third annual Celebrity Golf Classic Monday morning, thrilled his close friend and the producer of his former sitcom is now a mom to Louis Bardo Bullock. "Sandra is a loving, giving person, and Louis could not be in a better home and she could not be happier."
Lopez, who was joined at the golf outing by celebrity friends including Samuel L. Jackson, Tim Allen, Don Cheadle and Hilary Duff to benefit his own George Lopez Foundation, also told the TV show Extra he became aware of Bullock's adoption effort a few months before the Oscar winner made the news public.
