Vegas is going country.
The ACM Awards have arrived – and Nashville's biggest stars are kicking up their cowboy boots in Sin City for Sunday night's big show.
Helming the event are hosts Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan, but country vets like Garth Brooks and George Strait (taking the stage together for the first time) will rub elbows with newer stars, like The Band Perry and Florida Georgia Line.
Whether you're going to be hitting the strip in Vegas or watching from the comfort of your couch (starting at 8 p.m. ET on CBS), here are the essential songs to make sure you're in the loop.

Garth Brooks & George Strait Will Perform Together for First Time at ACM Awards

Here's some news that's sure to be music to country fans' ears – and black hat lovers everywhere!
Garth Brooks, 51, and George Strait, 60, are set to perform together for the very first time. Their collaboration will take place at the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, which airs live on CBS, April 7 in Las Vegas – and will honor Dick Clark, who began producing the program in 1979 until his death a week after last year's show.
The talented musical pair are the two most recent winners of the show's artist of the decade honor, with Strait being acknowledged for his work in the '00s and Brooks in the '90s.
Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan will be hosting this year's program. Tune in for the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, April 7 at 8 p.m. on CBS.

"I can't count them all, there are so many," the country icon tells PEOPLE Country's Kay West, in a rare interview – his first in five years.
Topping the list is his 41-year marriage to wife Norma.
"We love each other and we still like each other," he says of the secret to their relationship's longevity. "We're so blessed that we were able to experience this life together, to support each other through everything, good times and bad."

George Strait Announces Farewell Tour

King of Country George Strait says he's ready to ride his tour bus into the sunset – but don't count on him hanging up his hat anytime soon.
A living legend in the world of country music with a record 59 No. 1 hits to his name, Strait, 60, told reporters Wednesday at Nashville's Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum that after three decades of performing, he'll take his show on the road for a final time next year with the Cowboy Rides Away Tour.
"This is going to be a very special, emotional tour for me," Strait said in a statement. "Everywhere we're going holds fond memories and I’m looking forward to paying my respects."

Brad Paisley Leads CMA Nominations

Brad Paisley led the Country Music Association Awards nominations with six nods, it was announced Wednesday morning.
Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, Jamey Johnson, George Strait and Zac Brown Band each received four nods.
Paisley, the two-time reigning male vocalist of the year is once again up for the award, along with video of the year for "Start a Band," his duet with Keith Urban. He'll also be rivaling four-time entertainer of the year Kenny Chesney for the top honor.
Strait, who was honored earlier this year by the Academy of Country Music, as the Artist of the Decade, received nominations for musical event of the year (for his performance with Lee Ann Womack), male vocalist and entertainer of the year.

Country's best and hottest not only received multiple nominations for this year's 42nd Annual CMA Awards, they're going to perform as well.
Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney and George Strait are among the star-studded lineup of performers for the Nov. 12 show, the CMA announced Monday.
The performers are all up for some impressive awards.
Swift, 18, received her first female vocalist of the year nomination. Her single "Love Story," off her second album Fearless is currently No. 5 on Billboard's Hot 100.
