Gerard Butler Shows Off Hot New Body

It was obvious Gerard Butler had been losing some weight, but it wasn't until he shed his shirt after a charity soccer match that the extent of his efforts became clear.

Butler, 41, showed off his newly ripped abs and chiseled arms to go with his shock of blond hair Tuesday, all part of preparing for the surfing movie Mavericks, while also goofing for the camera by sticking out his tongue.

Not only does he look good, but it's helping his game. His team won 5-2 in a game benefiting Oxfam.

• Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas headed out for a family dinner at SD26 in N.Y.C. with daughter Carys, 8, son Dylan, 10, – and two family friends. The whole group settled in for the meal, and the kids were very well-behaved, a source says. After the Italian meal, which included a cheese and meat course as well as salads and entrees, Dylan got up to explore the open kitchen and greet the chefs.

Are Gerard Butler and Jessica Biel an item?

Their reps say the two actors are "just friends," but they appeared to be pretty close friends while shooting Playing the Field in Shreveport, La., last month. And over the weekend, new photos surfaced of Biel enjoying a ride on the back of Butler's motorcycle down the PCH in Malibu.

A source in Shreveport tells PEOPLE that, off the set, Butler and Biel were "friendly but professional," but it's clear the two enjoyed each other's company in their downtime, as well.

• Jessica Biel and costar Gerard Butler ordered 13 dozen cupcakes from Cush's Grocery and Market for the cast and crew of Playing the Field, which they're shooting in Shreveport, La. "It's a wide variety of cupcakes [that] she and Gerard ordered for a Friday treat," a source tells PEOPLE. Biel has dropped into the store several times for lunch, and usually orders the chicken salad special, the source says, calling the actress "one of the nicest, most down-to-earth people."

Gerard Butler Has Romantic Rendezvous with French TV Host

Jennifer Aniston isn't the only woman to have enjoyed some private time with Gerard Butler in Paris recently.

Butler, 40, who took a private cruise on the Seine with Aniston a week ago Saturday, struck up a rapport with local TV interviewer Laurie Cholewa that same weekend – and then returned to Paris midweek for a date with Cholewa, 29, that stretched from the day into the evening.

The two were seen strolling hand in hand through the French capital, visiting landmarks like the Louvre museum, where they ate lunch at the Café Marly. They had dinner on the Left Bank that same evening.
