Kendra Wilkinson: Being On Splash Meant 'Risking My Life'

Being on Splash was a matter of life or death to Kendra Wilkinson.
The reality star, 27, who stepped down from ABC's diving competition on Tuesday, tells PEOPLE, "I feel like the world is off my shoulders now. Every morning I would wake up and be shaking. It's a really risky show. I related jumping off the high board into the water to jumping to my death. That's how big of a deal it was. To me, it really meant risking my life."
A teary-eyed Wilkinson climbed down from the 23-foot platform on Tuesday's show, and said, "One thing I don't do is quit. This is the first time in my life I've quit something. This will haunt me for the rest of my life."

Her bathing suit is barely wet and Kendra Wilkinson's relationship with her coach Greg Louganis has already taken a nosedive.
In this video clip from ABC's new show Splash, the reality star plunges into a profanity-laced tirade after Louganis challenges her for refusing to jump from a three-meter board.
"I know Greg is the best diver of all time," Wilkinson, 27, says in a confessional on the competition show, which airs March 19. "Everybody would probably be pissed at me if I talked s–– about him, but guess what? I'm talking s–– about him. I don't like him."

When it comes to parenting, Kendra Wilkinson considers Kate Gosselin her mentor.
"If there's any person in this world I'm going to take motherly advice from, it's going to be Kate Gosselin," Wilkinson, 27, told PEOPLE on Friday. "She has eight kids and she knows what she's doing with them. When she told me advice, I listened. With most people, I'm just like, 'Whatever ... whatever, I'm not going to listen to you.' But she's the type I would take advice from."
The two moms connected while filming an episode of Celebrity Wife Swap, which airs Tuesday on ABC (8 p.m. ET). While Wilkinson stayed in Gosselin's Pennsylvania home with her eight kids, Gosselin, 37, ventured to L.A. to live with Wilkinson's hubby Hank Baskett and their 3-year-old son, Hank Baskett IV.

It was a busy night at the STK L.A. Anniversary party in West Hollywood on Wednesday, but Ryan Phillippe managed to slip inside relatively unnoticed with gal pal Paulina Slagter.
"Ryan drove in through the garage to avoid paparazzi, and he was brought into the restaurant through the kitchen," a source tells PEOPLE. "He and Paulina were very cute and held hands at their private table, tucked away from the rest of the crowd."
Slagter, who is reportedly still in college, and Phillippe, took in the sounds of Bibi McGill, the touring lead guitarist for Beyoncé, who did a few special performances at the ONE Group's trendy eatery throughout the night, to honor its four years in existence.
David Spade, Taryn Manning and a Kendra Wilkinson-less Hank Baskett were also in tow for the festive evening.
"Hank left in his Cadillac with a guy pal," an onlooker says. "When asked where Kendra was by a random partygoer, he said she was with her mom in San Diego. He couldn't have been nicer to fans who approached him."

As Kendra Wilkinson put it herself, being a mom has prevented her and hubby Hank Baskett from getting much one-on-one time. But luckily for the lovebirds, they managed to leave son Hank, 2½, home and slip away recently for a mellow night out.
Taking in dinner at New York City hotspot Asellina, the couple was joined by some friends.
"They drank, but didn't go overboard," an onlooker tells PEOPLE. "They seemed like they were having a relaxed night."
In typically bikini body-conscious mode, Wilkinson ordered grilled chicken, and was "in a good mood" during her night out.

As both a mom and a wife, it's been a crazy time for Kendra Wilkinson.
The reality star, who has moved on from E! and is shooting a new show, Kendra on Top, for WE tv, has been helping both her husband and son through some major life transitions – Hank Baskett III away from pro football, and Hank Baskett IV into school.
"We're just now putting Little Hank into pre-school … It's a big process and it's a big thing," Wilkinson, 26, told PEOPLE Saturday at Spike TV's 6th annual Guys Choice Awards in L.A. "[Viewers will see] how we picked out school, the concept of our school."

Date night! Kendra Wilkinson and husband Hank Baskett stepped out for a laid-back dinner together at Mediterraneo, a restaurant in L.A.'s Westlake Village neighborhood. The casual couple laughed over their meal, and both were dressed down. Kendra, who recently revealed her new diet, wore her hair in a ponytail and sported jeans and a pink T-shirt. Hank, meanwhile, was in a maroon flannel shirt and jeans. And, according to a source, Wilkinson mentioned she was staying away from the drinks at dinner.

Kendra Wilkinson is nuts about ... well, nuts!
"I've been eating almonds, pistachios, nuts with no sodium and some dried fruit all day long," the Kendra star told PEOPLE Sunday at NBC Universal's Golden Globes after party.
Calling it her "natural diet," Wilkinson, 26, says she's turned her whole family into a bunch of nut fanatics.
"We blend them in our smoothies and we have them in our yogurt," she explains. "We're a healthy family."

A year ago, Kendra Wilkinson said she and hubby Hank Baskett were "definitely" planning to get pregnant again within the next twelve months.
Now the Kendra star, 26, is rethinking things a bit, telling PEOPLE instead that she's decided to "hold off for a little bit longer."
But even though Wilkinson isn't in baby-making mode now, Baskett, 29, is ready for the happily married couple's son, Hank Baskett, Jr., who turns 2 in December, to have a little playmate.
"Hank actually talks about having another baby a lot more than I even think about having another baby," the former Girls Next Door star tells PEOPLE. "I don't know when that's coming. Whenever I feel it's time, then it's time."
