The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills turned into an episode of Days of Our Lives Tuesday night, when former soap stars Eileen Davidson and Lisa Rinna were reunited.

"The first time I met Eileen was in the late '80s … Eileen was huge on The Young and The Restless," said Rinna, referencing Davidson's role as Ashley Abbott, before the two worked together on Days – Davidson as the villainous Kristen DiMera and Rinna as Billie Reed.

"At this point in my life and career, I feel incredibly grateful," Davidson said about her 2014 Daytime Emmy win for best actress on Days. "I've been doing this for so long … it might never happen again for me."

Lisa Rinna Parties with Celebrity Pals (and a Drool-Worthy Menu) for Her Birthday

Originally posted 07/16/2012 06:00AM

Lisa Rinna had no shortage of celebrity guests come out to celebrate her 49th birthday on Thursday night at her and hubby Harry Hamlin's Los Angeles home.

Joined by her usual group of gal pals – including Denise Richards, Maria Menounos, Nancy O'Dell, Holly Robinson Peete, Garcelle Beauvais and Angelina Jolie's stylist Jen Rade – Rinna treated her 30 attendees to a Mexican-themed fiesta produced by Good Carma Studio in her backyard.

Kitchit chef Meg Hall was on hand to present a generous menu, which included shrimp and guacamole tostadas, chorizo-stuffed squash blossoms, shishito peppers and key lime pie shooters.

"Lisa's daughters and dog were in the kitchen a lot," a source tells PEOPLE. "There were some special items made for her daughter Amelia, [who doesn't eat gluten]. The kitchen was the gathering spot for most of the other guests, too. Garcelle and Denise were in there most of the evening, chatting about their kids."

Lisa Rinna Gets Her Lip Stitches Checked

Lisa Rinna's lips may look fine and dandy today, but when she recently underwent surgery to correct those plump puckers, her hubby Harry Hamlin feared the turnout would not be so pleasant.

"Lisa could look weird for the rest of her life," a worried Hamlin said by his wife's beside in a clip released exclusively to PEOPLE. "She must be freaking out. I can see on the doctor's face, his look of concern … this could be serious."

After Rinna's doctor said his patient's lips were "not healing very well," as he tried taking out her stitches, a concerned Rinna looked to her husband for reassurance. "Help me," she says in the clip, which will air Nov. 10 on the season finale of Harry Loves Lisa on TV Land. "Now what? What do we do? What do I do?"

Lisa Rinna's mouth has attracted plenty of attention over the years – not all of it flattering. But one person who had no issue with her famously puffy pout? Her husband, Harry Hamlin.

"What got me about Lisa was her eyes, not her lips," says Hamlin, who married Rinna in 1997. "So I spent most of my time looking at those."

Hamlin says he didn't notice as, over the years, Rinna's top lip became swollen and bumpy – the result of scar tissue that formed around silicone injected into the lip when she was 25.

"Whatever change took place was so gradual, it never registered for me," says Hamlin, adding that when kissing his wife, her mouth always "felt soft and supple."

Lisa Rinna is most comfortable in the nude, which may explain why the 45-year-old doesn't understand why there is so much stigma attached to not having a perfect body.

"While I'm definitely a product of this mindset, I don't get all the fuss our society has over people's weight," actress Lisa Rinna told PEOPLE Tuesday night during Kate Somerville's skin care launch at the Four Seasons Resort in Palm Beach. "I am more comfortable being nude than hosting an event like this."

Added Rinna, who is set to pose nude on the cover of Playboy's May issue: "It is best to be moderate. I focus on fitness, eat healthy, and am lucky that I am not anorexic and my weight stays the same."

In fact, the actress believes she looks better now than she did at 34 when she posed for Playboy while pregnant.

Lisa Rinna's secret to looking fabulous in her upcoming May spread in Playboy? Skipping the gym.

"This was really hard for me because being 45 years old and posing for Playboy, you want to amp it up," Rinna told PEOPLE at Tuesday's Room 23 book launch hosted by Diana Jenkins and Neuro Brands.

Rinna explains she received direct orders from Playboy photographer Deborah Anderson, who also shot Rinna for the Room 23 book, which was created by Malibu businesswoman and activist Diana Jenkins to benefit the UCLA Sanela Diana Jenkins International Justice Clinic.

Over Here, Mario!Mario Lopez was like a fly darting around after Tuesday night's show. While chatting with PEOPLE, he jetted over mid-sentence to talk to a friend. His small-but-mighty partner Karina Smirnoff took control and yanked him back to her side. "We are still talking here," she reminded him. A contrite Lopez apologized and flashed his dimples. Harry Hamlin is taking his stint on the third season of Dancing with the Stars so seriously that he's even taking his work home with him. "I'm going to tell you something no one knows," admits wife Lisa Rinna. "(Harry) bought a dance floor for our house. It's on our deck in the backyard. We practice at the same time because I'm still dancing, but we have not practiced together because I don't want to mess him up."
