What's With Heather Locklear's Mystery Ring?

Heather Locklear is having an on-again, off-again relationship – with a diamond ring.
The actress has been spotted around L.A. wearing the dazzling bauble on the ring finger of her left hand, including when she arrived at Los Angeles International Airport from a trip to New York City with longtime boyfriend Jack Wagner on June 10. Two nights later, she hit the red carpet at the Crystal and Lucy Awards looking stunning in a green printed Max Mara frock, but sans the sparkler.
On June 14, the ring was back on as Locklear, 47, lunched in Beverly Hills with Wagner, 49, her daughter Ava, 11, and a pal of Ava's, but she quickly slipped it off when she noticed photographers outside the restaurant, says an observer.

• Heather Locklear and Jack Wagner, cracking up guests and livening up the scene at Carole Bayer Sager's new gallery, LA Art House. The happy couple "had a fast, witty banter back and forth with each other," a guest tells us. Locklear joked that she thought Wagner should buy some art to show his support, teasing him, "Let's go with the plastic – the credit card." According to guests, they both laughed as they scouted out the work. Says an onlooker, "They were a really fun couple and so cute."

Heather Locklear's DUI Case Dismissed

Heather Locklear pleaded no contest to reckless driving in a Santa Barbara, Calif., court Friday, and in exchange, a DUI charge was dismissed, a source close to the case confirms.
As part of the plea deal with prosecutors, Locklear was sentenced to three years' informal probation, was fined $700 and must complete a 12-hour DMV road and safety class. The actress was not present in court. Her attorney, Blair Berk, declined to comment on the case.
In November, Locklear, 47, had been formally charged with driving under the influence of drugs following a September arrest in which a 911 caller described her as "driving erratically."

Heather Locklear: 'I've Been Better'

Heather Locklear acknowledged she's endured a "tough" year – marked by a DUI and treatment for depression and anxiety – but said her life is back on track.
"I've been better, but I'm good today," Locklear, 47, said Wednesday on The Tonight Show. "Here I am, safe and sound."
Asked by Jay Leno if she would have done anything differently this year, she joked, "I would have stayed in my house."
But she said that although she learned "hard lessons," she "wouldn't have done anything differently because, here I am today, happy and healthy, and lessons are to learn."

Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora Reuniting for Thanksgiving

Heather Locklear and ex-husband Richie Sambora are embracing the spirit of Thanksgiving by celebrating the holiday together – along with Locklear's boyfriend – this year.
"Richie and Heather are spending Thanksgiving together with [daughter] Ava," a friend of Locklear's tells PEOPLE. "Jack [Wagner] and a few good friends will also be having dinner with them."
Locklear, 47, and Sambora, 49, split in 2006 after 12 years of marriage, but they continue to be supportive of each other, and to co-parent their 11 year old daughter.
"They may be divorced, but they are raising a little girl they both love very much," a friend of the Bon Jovi guitarist told PEOPLE in June after Locklear sought treatment for depression and anxiety.

Heather Locklear Formally Charged With DUI

Heather Locklear has been formally charged with driving under the influence of drugs in connection with her September arrest, the Santa Barbara, Calif., District Attorney's Office said Monday.
The misdemeanor charge filed by the DA's office specifies that the drugs in question were "prescription medications." If convicted, the actress, 47, faces penalties ranging from a fine to up to six months in county jail.
An arraignment was set for Jan. 26 in Santa Barbara Superior Court.

David Spade Checks In on Heather Locklear

A year ago, David Spade owned up that he and Heather Locklear had been an item – only then they became friends, and now she's a friend in need.
"I texted her to check on her," Spade, 44, said Saturday night in Santa Monica at the annual benefit dinner and concert for the Lili Claire Foundation (which helps children living with neurogenetic conditions), about Locklear, who was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Heather Locklear Arrested on DUI Charge

Heather Locklear was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Saturday evening in Santa Barbara County, Calif.
"Around 4:30 p.m., a female witness saw Heather Locklear driving erratically while leaving a parking lot in Montecito," California Highway Patrol spokesman Tom Marshall tells PEOPLE. "The witness said Locklear was revving her engine loudly, and backed over a pair of sunglasses several times."
Soon after, the witness – who apparently didn't recognize the actress – spotted Locklear, 47, stopped on a nearby highway, exiting her vehicle.
"The witness called 911 because she was concerned for Locklear's safety," Marshall said. "When a CHP officer arrived, Locklear was found seated inside her vehicle, which was partially blocking the roadway."

Heather Locklear Leaves Treatment Center

After successfully completing four weeks of treatment for anxiety and depression, Heather Locklear is back home.
"Heather's feeling really great," says a close friend. "And she looks beautiful, just radiant."
While the actress's recovery is "a work in progress," Locklear seems rejuvenated by her month away, says the friend. "She told a really funny story and she laughed from her core," says the pal, who has seen Locklear since she returned home last weekend. "That's when I knew she was going to be fine. I think that's the best part of all – it's so nice to hear her laugh."

Heather Locklear: Missing Her Daughter Is 'Hardest Part'

Three weeks after she headed to Arizona to receive treatment for anxiety and depression, Heather Locklear is flourishing – but missing her 10-year-old daughter, Ava.
"The hardest part of all of this is being apart from Ava," says one Locklear friend. "But she knows she'll be better than ever, and that they'll both really benefit from this. She's feeling better, but it's tough."
Locklear, 46, checked herself in to the facility June 19 for an in-depth evaluation of the medication she'd been taking for anxiety and depression.
