Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt's Hills wedding was portrayed on TV like a fairytale.
With blessings from the parents, and Montag's adored ex-bestie Lauren Conrad in tow, the reality couple's nuptials seemingly couldn't have gone better.
But, says the duo, like their so-called divorce, the emotions that came across during their wedding episode were all "fake." Now the couple plan to renew their vows and get a fresh start at married life.

It's been a year of challenges for Heidi Montag's mom Darlene Egelhoff.
Aside from her estranged relationship with Montag since February, the mother of three and her husband, Tim, also now face an immense financial hurdle.
Timberlines, a popular restaurant featured on The Hills and owned by Egelhoff and her husband in Montag's hometown of Crested Butte, Colo., recently went out of business after a 21-year run.

Just a month after calling off her divorce, Heidi Montag is back to gushing about Spencer Pratt.
The surgically enhanced reality star, 23, is currently in Las Vegas for the Pure Nightclub Halloween party she is hosting on Saturday, where Pratt will be in attendance. "Fortunately, we are together," Montag tells Doug Elfman of Las Vegas Review-Journal, "So it's been a long summer, and we are together, and I'm so excited to be in Vegas together and to have our friends there."

More than two months after the car accident that killed famous Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Frank Ryan, officials issued findings without any mention of texting and driving.
"His Jeep drifted to the right, ran off the roadway, and overturned down a rocky embankment," says a press release issued Wednesday by the California Highway Patrol. "There was no evidence of any other contributing factors in the cause of this collision."
Ryan was plastic surgeon to Heidi Montag and other celebrities.

Love conquers all: At least it would seem so for Heidi Montag and husband Spencer Pratt.
Montag filed for divorce from Pratt, 27, in July, but after spending time together in Costa Rica – and after Pratt publicly apologized to his wife – Montag, 23, has decided take her hubby back.
"We are back together trying to make things work," the couple tell PEOPLE exclusively. "Costa Rica really put things in perspective. We do love each other and realized we do want to spend the rest of our lives together."

Spencer Pratt certainly has flair for the dramatic.
Brandishing an oversized knife, talking over banjo music and covering his face in fake blood, the self-proclaimed "astronaut" decided to get rid of his flesh-colored beard.
He's removing his facial hair "in honor of things working out between my wife, Heidi Montag, and myself," he says in a video posted Tuesday on his YouTube channel.
And, really, what better way to celebrate their reunion?
Pratt marked the "special day" by having an assistant "use" a knife to chop off his beard – because shaving cream and razor blade brands declined to have their products featured with him.

A week after issuing a public apology to estranged wife Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt's "intense soul-searching" seems to have paid off.
On Wednesday, The Hills stars made it clear that Speidi isn't over just yet – with a makeout session, complete with champagne, in Santa Barbara, Calif.

He quickly earned the title of the guy you love to hate on The Hills, but has this reality TV villain turned over a new leaf?
Spencer Pratt on Wednesday issued a long apology to the woman he's divorcing, Heidi Montag, saying he's planning "intense soul-searching" and pursuing "appropriate avenues for my issues."
"Divorce can be a trying, draining, and emotionally devastating experience for all involved," Pratt, 27, tells PEOPLE. "Despite these hardships, most individuals manage to conduct themselves with dignity and maturity. I did not – I failed spectacularly."

She's Tweeted about massaging her breast implants to keep them soft, worried about her nose falling off and complained of jaw pain recently – but Heidi Montag doesn't want to be a cautionary tale against plastic surgery.
After her jaw-dropping (or is that tightening) 10 plastic surgeries in one day last November, the former Hills star told PEOPLE she was on a journey to become "the best me."
On her recent trip to Costa Rica, Montag, 23, has been flaunting her body, posing in a bikini in the water while still sporting a bandage on her nose. Why? "To keep the swelling down and hold my nose in place the way [my plastic surgeon] Dr. Ryan sculpted it," she has said.

Heidi Montag has her hands full.
The plastic-surgery prone reality star spent some time Tuesday morning massaging her ample bosoms – but not just for a good time.
"Giving my self a soft tissue breast massage," Montag Tweeted around 10:30 a.m. from Costa Rica. "Ladies we have to keep those implants soft."
