It looks like both John Travolta and Idina Menzel are going to let it go.
In the days since Travolta first stepped in front of a microphone at Sunday's Oscars and mangled the Frozen star's name in front of 43 million people, the artist once known as Adele Dazeem has become an Internet phenomenon.
Now, Travolta is speaking about the gaffe for the first time.
"I've been beating myself up all day," the Pulp Fiction star said in a statement released Tuesday. "Then I thought, what would Idina Menzel say? She'd say, let it go, let it go!"
The two-time Oscar nominee added, "Idina is incredibly talented and I am so happy Frozen took home two Oscars Sunday night!"
There no were hard feelings on Menzel's end: According to a source, the Tony winner wasn't bothered by her newfound moniker – or the online uproar it sparked. In fact, the source said, "She thought it was funny."
Menzel was too focused on her Oscars performance to realize what had happened during her introduction.
According to E!, the Frozen star gave Travolta a hug after her performance was over. Later in the ceremony, Oscar host Ellen DeGeneres clearly – and accurately – announced the performer's name. Twice.

You've seen "Let It Go" performed by a 9-year-old. You've seen it performed in Times Square. You've even seen it performed by Adele Dazim. But you've never seen it like this.
Frozen star Idina Menzel stopped by The Tonight Show Monday night, and took the film's Oscar-winning ballad out for a spin in Jimmy Fallon's patented Classroom Instruments Cover Method, which instantly turns any song into an exercise in homespun cuteness.

Idina Menzel is set to perform "Let It Go" at the Oscars, and she got the practice of her life Wednesday morning, singing the Frozen showstopper on Good Morning America as part of a massive nationwide sing-along.
After Menzel kicked things off in Times Square, the Broadway star turned the song over to a trio of costumed Frozen fans, clad in full Elsa attire. Soon the entire New York City crowd – anchors George Stephanopoulos, Ginger Zee and Laura Spencer, singing along with hundreds of spectators – got in on the fun.
