Jack Osbourne's Open Letter on World MS Day: Let's Stop the Secrecy and Band Together to Keep After Our Dreams

When I learned I had relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis four years ago, it was the scariest moment of my life. I was only 26 years old, I had just become a father and I thought my whole life was in front of me – but there I was, being told I had an incurable and often debilitating illness. I had so many emotions and so many questions, and, frankly, I was terrified of the unknown.
Today is World MS Day, and I'm proud to say I'm doing okay. I certainly learned a lot since my diagnosis, and I am thankful to have been welcomed by this inspiring community where I can now pay it forward through my work on the You Don't Know Jack About MS campaign, in partnership with Teva Pharmaceuticals. As I reflect back, there's a lot I want to share about my experience to hopefully help others.

Decades ago, a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis – an autoimmune disease for which there is no cure – could have been viewed as a death sentence. But today, it's entirely possible to live a normal, full life with the disease.

Reality TV's Jack Osbourne may be "knee-deep in dirty diapers" thanks to 7-week-old daughter Andy Rose, but the son of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne says he's enough of a political junkie to know a few things about the 2016 presidential race so far.

Sorry, Osbourne fans. The planned reboot of the family's classic reality series is not going to happen.
VH1 had intended to revive the old MTV reality show starring Ozzy, Sharon, Jack and Kelly Osbourne, but the network has now dropped the project, says The Hollywood Reporter.
"We are no longer talking to the Osbournes about a series; that's not going to happen," VH1 programming executive Susan Levison tells THR. "We wish we could have worked it out, but it just didn't come together for us. The family has been absolutely lovely, and we wish them the best. We'd love to figure out a way to work with them at some point in the future."

[BRIGHTCOVE "4199266042001" "" "" "auto"] If politics makes strange bedfellows, it might be said that disease makes united – and determined – ones.
