Far be it from us to refer to the Golden Globes as "Hollywood's drunkest night," but the awards show has a bit of a reputation.

It's a golden night in Hollywood.
The 2014 awards show circuit kicked off Sunday night with the 71st annual Golden Globes, and the stars graciously (and sometimes awkwardly) accepted their statues on stage.
When an emotional Amy Adams clutched her award for actress in a musical or comedy for American Hustle, she joked: "I always cry when I'm not supposed to, and then a director asks me to cry and I can't cry. It really sucks."
But others didn't have quite the right sound bite at the ready.
