Chloë Moretz Parties Poolside in Hollywood

Chloë Moretz, Jaden Smith and Patrick Schwarzenegger were feted as the biggest and brightest stars of young Hollywood on Tuesday night.
The stars of Glee, Pitch Perfect, Big Time Rush, and more partied poolside at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood for the release of Nylon's young Hollywood issue.
The evening began with an intimate dinner at the Public Kitchen inside the historic hotel where cover girl Moretz arrived with a gaggle of friends ready to celebrate. She and her pals filled up on appetizers of meatballs, burrata cheese and kale but only nibbled on their entrees, choosing to spend time standing and chatting instead.

Jaden Smith, the young rapper son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, certainly seems enamored with Kylie Jenner, the half-sister of Kim Kardashian – saying in a new interview that they're the best of friends, even as others believe they may be something more.
"I was in L.A., we were all hanging out," Smith, 14, tells Britain's Wonderland Magazine. "Then I went to New York and she came too, and then she came here [to London] and surprised me, so that's pretty baller."
He adds: "She's one of my best friends. It's pretty awesome."

Jada Pinkett Smith knows a thing or two about diet and exercise.
The 41-year-old mom to Jaden, 14, and Willow, 12, who recently showed off an extremely toned beach body, says the craziest diet she's ever done actually involved a whole lot of eating.
"My craziest diet was for The Matrix," Smith told PEOPLE at the Vera Wang Fall 2013 Collection fashion show at Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week on Tuesday. Seated front row next to model Chrissy Teigen, Pinkett Smith enjoyed some girl time away from husband Will Smith, who recently vacationed with pals – and parents-to-be – Kim Kardashian and Kanye West in Brazil.

When it comes to raising her kids, Jada Pinkett Smith isn't authoritarian in her rule-making.
"I think that old school style of 'I'm your parent and I'm greater than you' doesn't work," she told PEOPLE at a Yes to Prop 35 event hosted by The Moms on Monday afternoon. "What I establish with my children is a partnership."
Adds the actress: "I'm not necessarily dictating what is happening in their lives."

"It seems like that happens at least once a year, or at least once every two years," Pinkett Smith, 40, tells September's Essence.
"It's rumored that we're getting a divorce. But no. We're not getting a divorce. Where am I gonna go? Where am I going to go?" she says of her 15-year marriage to husband Will Smith.
"That's my boo. It's like he's another part of me."

Despite reports of trouble in their marriage, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith were caught smooching Friday in Philadelphia – on the Jumbotron!
Will, 43, and Jada, 40, were "couply and cuddly," says fellow spectator Becky Haring, 22, of Birdsboro, Pa., who sat a few rows away from the famous pair at the Philadelphia 76ers-Miami Heat game Friday night. "They were having a good time," she says.
Philadelphia-native Smith danced during the game (even though his team lost 84-78) and at one point planted a wet one on his wife for the "kiss cam."
The night out was a family affair for the basketball-loving couple, who posed courtside with kids Willow, 11, and Jaden, 13.

Like father, like son. From the flat top to the ears to the full mouth, Jaden Smith is growing up to look just like his dad Will Smith.
The 13-year-old has come a long way since playing Dre Parker in the Karate Kid remake in June 2010.
Looking significantly more mature and mirroring all of his handsome 43-year-old dad's features, Jaden posted a WhoSay photo on Tuesday from the set of his latest film After Earth, which is set for a 2013 release.

What an awesome dad! Will Smith and son Jaden, 13, were sitting front and center for Kanye West and Jay-Z's Watch the Throne tour, which stopped recently in Miami. The father-son duo were in a VIP section, and they sang along and really got into the music. Before the concert, the two stopped by Prime 112 Steakhouse in Miami Beach for dinner with a large group. Fans approached Jaden for pictures, and Will seemed very happy to share the spotlight with his son. Otherwise, the two spent their meal just laughing and joking.

The kids were alright at the BET Awards on Sunday night, as Willow and Jaden Smith (at left in the photo) shared the YoungStars Award, much to the delight of proud parents Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith.
At center in the photo is Diggy Simmons, who was also nominated in the category.
Chris Brown was the night's big winner, earning four awards, including best male R&B artist, while Patti LaBelle received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
"When anyone asks me who I want to be like, I always say Patti LaBelle," Beyoncé told the audience.
