Jane Fonda doesn't consider herself beautiful.
"Am I surprised by how good I look at 75? Yes, I appreciate the compliment, I'm honored to be called beautiful. I don't consider myself beautiful," she says on the set of her PEOPLE Most Beautiful photo shoot. "But when I was on the outside of oldness, looking in, I didn't expect that people would think I was beautiful at 75."

Jane Fonda Realizes She Is Not Afraid of Death

Jane Fonda is one fearless woman.
Following a breast cancer diagnosis in 2010, Fonda, now 75, reassessed her outlook on life, and came to realize she didn't feel any different than she did before the scare.
"[It] was a good test, because I always said I'm not afraid of dying," the double Oscar winner Klute, Coming Home says on Oprah's Next Chapter airing Sunday at 9 p.m. on OWN. "And I wasn't. I mean, I felt, god, I've just joined a family of millions of women who have gone through this. And how interesting. What a journey this is going to be."

Robin Williams Plays President Eisenhower (No Joke)

Heroic World War II general and president of Columbia University – and one of the best-liked American presidents – Dwight D. Eisenhower wasn't particularly known for his sense of humor, but that may change now that he is being played by Robin Williams.
As seen in this photo, Williams, 61, is made up to play Eisenhower during his White House years. Ike was 62 when first sworn in, and 71 when he handed over the reins to the 43-year-old JFK in 1961.
And the role is for The Butler, an adaptation of a Washington Post article about the real-life Eugene Allen, a White House domestic-staff member who served under eight First Families. Forest Whitaker plays Allen and Oprah Winfrey will play his wife.

Levon Helm Remembered by Sheryl Crow, Adam Levine

Some of the biggest names in music are honoring one of the biggest legends.
After Levon Helm, the drummer for The Band, died Thursday at 71, Sheryl Crow took to Twitter to express her condolences.
"My heart [is] heavy with sad news of Levon Helm's passing," she wrote. "My thoughts and prayers are with Levon's family."
Also Tweeting about the late Helm, who had cancer: Maroon 5 frontman and The Voice coach Adam Levine.

Susan Sarandon: I'm Comfortable in My 'Saggy' Skin

At 64 years old, Susan Sarandon couldn't be happier.
"I wouldn't want to be 20 now," the actress tell V magazine, in their special Age Issue, also featuring Jane Fonda and Sigourney Weaver. "I know so much more, and I'm much more comfortable in my skin, saggy as it is."
Sarandon says life's too short to spend it worrying about your body. "When I hear young girls complaining about superficial things ... You're at the peak of your physical beauty right now!" she exclaims. "Just enjoy it and stop worrying about your thighs being too big."

Jane Fonda Has a Breast Cancer Scare

Jane Fonda has revealed that she recently had a breast cancer scare, but after a successful procedure is free of the disease.
The actress and fitness guru, 72, is "completely fine," her rep tells PEOPLE.
A small tumor was discovered during a routine checkup a few weeks ago. The cancer was found to be non-invasive, and Fonda had a procedure earlier this week to remove the tumor.
"She's 100 percent cancer-free,” says her rep. "She's completely fine and it's business as usual for her.

Jane Fonda is ready to make the world sweat again: On May 1, the actress will host the first-ever World Fitness Day in Atlanta's Georgia Dome.
The fitness guru – who inspired the nation to "feel the burn!" in the '70s with her at-home workout videos – decided to host the event to promote "the fun and value of exercise," Fonda tells PEOPLE. "It can be a determining factor in the quality of your life and it's never too late to start."
More than 3,000 participants will have the opportunity to sign-up for work-out sessions that range from aerobics with Richard Simmons to tae-bo with Billy Blanks. The event will also be available live online via ustream.tv.

Ryan O'Neal Disappointed by Oscars' Farrah Fawcett Snub

Farrah Fawcett's longtime partner, Ryan O'Neal, has joined other Hollywood figures including Jane Fonda and Roger Ebert in expressing dismay that Fawcett was left out of the "In Memoriam" segment of Sunday's Academy Awards.
"There is no comment other than we were disappointed that she was not included," a rep for O'Neal tells PEOPLE.
Fonda and Ebert both Tweeted about the snub during the broadcast. "No Farrah Fawcett in the memorial tribute? Major fail," Ebert wrote. "And where was Farrah Fawcett? She should have been included #oscars #FAIL," wrote Fonda.

Jane Fonda Recovering From Knee-Replacement Surgery

Jane Fonda bid farewell to her left knee as she headed into surgery Tuesday morning, where according to Fonda, it would be replaced with a "titanium rod and ceramic joint."
Right before her operation she Tweeted, "Lying on a guerney [sic]. Drugs are starting to hit. Wheeee. So long left knee. You're toast!" She also posted a photo on Twitter of her left knee, marked with the doctor's initials J.R.M (see below) and an arrow to make sure the correct knee gets removed.

As Broadway prepares to dim its lights Thursday night in her memory, the shock and sadness over Natasha Richardson's untimely death is still settling in among the theatrical and filmmaking communities, with reactions pouring in from both sides of the Atlantic from several generations of fellow performers, including Ralph Fiennes, Judi Dench, Jane Fonda and Lindsay Lohan.
"For everyone who knew and loved her, Natasha's death is a terrible, devastating loss. She was a star. A great actress, a beautiful woman, a fiercely loyal friend, a brilliant and generous companion," said Fiennes, 46, a longtime friend who costarred with Richardson in 2001's Maid in Manhattan. "She was an adoring and loving wife and mother. She was unique. My thoughts and prayers go out to Liam and her beautiful sons, Michael and Danny and to all her family. I cannot imagine a world without her wit, her love, her mischief, her great, great talent and her gift for living. I loved her very much. She was a supreme friend. I shall miss her deeply."
