Giuliana Rancic may have one of the coolest jobs in Hollywood – and that's not something she takes lightly.
Well, except for when the E! host takes a break from reporting to goof off with the hottest stars on the red carpet – just one of the perks of her job! – with a little lighthearted fun.
Sunday night's Screen Actors Guild Awards was no exception, and before celebrities filed into L.A.'s Shrine Exposition Center, Rancic had three targets in mind: George Clooney and girlfriend Stacey Keibler and Glee star Jane Lynch.

An adorable puppy wriggled its way into Jane Lynch's heart over the weekend.
The Glee star adopted an Australian shepherd mix at a Kinder4Rescue.org pet adoption event on Saturday in Studio City, Calif., and she named the male pup Francis Willoughby Lynch Embry, her agent tells PEOPLE.

"My sweet kitty Greta took her leave from us. We loved her so. Kiss your own kitties and pups right now," she wrote, posting a photo of her wife, Lara Embry, cuddling the fluffy feline.

Lea Michele and her Glee costars Jane Lynch, Chris Colfer and more – took in the scene at Fox and FX's post-Emmy bash at Fig & Olive in West Hollywood. Guests – such as first-time Emmy winner Margo Martindale and Modern Family's Ty Burrell and Jesse Tyler Ferguson – filled the restaurant and a massive tent next door and nibbled on Mediterranean-inspired food such as filet mignon, ratatouille, asparagus in olive oil, seafood paella and goat cheese gnocchi.

After winning his and hers Emmy awards, Ty Burrell and Julie Bowen celebrated – and feasted – with their costars.
The Modern Family onscreen couple was joined by their fellow cast members at the Governors Ball held at the Los Angeles Convention Center after Sunday’s ceremony, where they were served a three-course dinner catered by Patina Restaurant Group.
On the menu: Windrose Farm’s heirloom tomatoes, rosemary and cherry wood grilled asparagus and fried gold potatoes to start, followed by a main course of filet mignon and gratin of macaroni.

As Sue Sylvester, Jane Lynch spits out sass with the same ease costar Lea Michele hits high notes on Glee.
But even without her signature red tracksuit – or a gaggle of Gleeks by her side – the host and outstanding supporting actress nominee, 51, spared no prisoners with her snark at Sunday night's Primetime Emmy Awards live from L.A.'s Nokia Theatre.
But was her wit a hit? Check out her best moments, then tell us how Lynch fared as Emmy host:

Jane Lynch already has practice winning an Emmy. But come Sunday night, she's going to face a new challenge: running the show.
Fellow costars and nominees say the Glee star and first-time Emmy host, who is also nominated for her role as Sue Sylvester, is definitely up for the gig.
"She's going to kill it," Bridesmaids star Melissa McCarthy, who is an Emmy nominee for her role on Mike & Molly, tells PEOPLE. "And I have a good seat to watch Jane just destroy it."

Watch out, Gleeks! Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) has the students of McKinley High in her crosshairs.
In a new promo for Fox's hit show Glee, which returns Sept. 20, the nasty Cheerios coach plays a little dodgeball to the tune of the Go-Go's "We Got the Beat."
While Rachel (Lea Michele), Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison) and Emma (Jayma Mays) don't get hit, most of the guys, including Finn (Cory Monteith), Puck (Mark Salling) and Artie (Kevin McHale) all get nailed – in the face.
Like the devilishly fun promo promises, "This season will be impossible to miss."

Will the Emmys get Mad, as in Men – or will they Rock, as in 30? Or will they fall for a brand new Game of Thrones?
All will be revealed in two months – Glee star Jane Lynch, a supporting actress in a comedy series nominee, will host the 63rd annual Primetime Emmy Awards from Los Angeles's Nokia Theatre live on Fox Sept. 18 – but for now, the show to beat is AMC's '60s drama about advertising, Mad Men, which led the nominations, with 19. Game of Thrones received 13.

Glee's Jane Lynch has been tapped to host the Emmys this year – and yes, she promises to rock her "finest tracksuit" for the occasion.
Lynch, who plays Sue Sylvester on the FOX hit, will also play host for the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards, airing live from Los Angeles in September.
She'll be in familiar territory, having won an Emmy herself last year for her role on Glee.
