Jane Lynch says her divorce from Dr. Lara Embry after three years of marriage is about as drama-free as these things get.
"It's not dramatic. It's not a horrible thing. It's something that we're dealing with," the Glee actress, 53, said Monday on the web show Larry King Now.
"It's two people who just decide it's better to go apart than stay together," she added.

Jane Lynch is officially ending her marriage.
The Glee star wed psychologist Lara Embry in Massachusetts in May 2010 and filed for domestic partnership in California days later.
They separated on Feb. 2, 2013, with Lynch filing for divorce on Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences and seeking to terminate the court's jurisdiction to award spousal support to Embry.

Glee star Jane Lynch and her wife, Dr. Lara Embry, are getting a divorce, the actress tells PEOPLE exclusively.
"Lara and I have decided to end our marriage. This has been a difficult decision for us as we care very deeply about one another. We ask for privacy as we deal with this family matter," Lynch says in a statement.
Lynch, 52, and Embry, 44, met at a 2009 fundraiser in San Francisco at which Embry was being honored. Shortly after confirming their engagement, the women married on Memorial Day in 2010 in an intimate ceremony in Sunderland, Mass., one of the few states where gay marriage is recognized.

The stars arrived by the dozens to Park City, Utah, for the 2013 Sundance Film Festival and PEOPLE has the details of their busy weekend.

The actor still managed to be up in time to surprise the guests at the Outfest Queer Brunch at Grub Steak Restaurant in Prospector Square Sunday morning with his Interior. Leather Bar. co-director Travis Mathews.
"James was the hit of the party," one brunch attendee tells PEOPLE. "Everyone wanted their picture with him."

It's not every house – or couple – that can welcome Reese Witherspoon, Jane Lynch and Julie Roberts to dinner all on the same night, but Glee, American Horror Story and The New Normal creator Ryan Murphy and his husband, photographer David Miller, did just that, when in June they hosted the $40,000-a-plate dinner for President Obama.
Of course, besides great connections, it also helps to have a $10 million showplace to call home, which the couple – who wed last 4th of July – also have, as seen in The Hollywood Reporter's first-ever Home Issue.
Located near the Beverly Hills Hotel, the Spanish Colonial residence was first built in 1927 and last owned by Diane Keaton. Murphy bought it in 2010 and worked with designer Cliff Fong to add several colorful touches – including quirky antiques and figurines with sombreros circling a courtyard water fountain.

Why stick with one when many will do?
Jane Lynch adopted an Australian shepherd mix in December, shortly after losing her cat, Greta, and has officially settled on at least six names for him.
"Francis Willoughby is his full name," Lynch tells PEOPLE, but that's not the only one he goes by.
"We call him Bannis, I don't know why. Instead of Francis, I call him Bannis or Ban Ban. Franny, Francisco, Francois … We have tons of nicknames for him."

Sue Sylvester may have met her match!
The newest face at Glee's McKinley High is none other than Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes, who guest starred on Tuesday night's episode as synchronized-swimming coach Roz Washington.
Leakes – whose real-life ego has been an issue for some of her Real Housewives costars – went all out for the role, clawing her way through hilarious lines like, "I am an Olympian. I won this bronze damn Olympic medal in Beijing, China. I had noodles with the president, and a threesome with Michael Phelps."

Giuliana Rancic may have one of the coolest jobs in Hollywood – and that's not something she takes lightly.
Well, except for when the E! host takes a break from reporting to goof off with the hottest stars on the red carpet – just one of the perks of her job! – with a little lighthearted fun.
Sunday night's Screen Actors Guild Awards was no exception, and before celebrities filed into L.A.'s Shrine Exposition Center, Rancic had three targets in mind: George Clooney and girlfriend Stacey Keibler and Glee star Jane Lynch.
