A few months after going public with her romance with Jason Segel, Michelle Williams "hasn't been this happy in forever," a source tells PEOPLE.
And "Jason is totally smitten," said the source about the couple, who appeared at an afterparty for the premiere of Take This Waltz at Manhattan's Sons of Essex restaurant Thursday night. "It's like the first girl he's ever been this way with."
The couple, who only spent about forty minutes at the afterparty, sat down to chat with another couple and mingled with friends briefly before leaving. They appeared in good spirits, laughing together and occasionally holding hands.

Michelle Williams and Jason Segel may be a new couple, but they sure don't seem new in the PDA department.
On Sunday, the pair were again cozy at the Tribeca Film Festival and Heineken afterparty for her film Take This Waltz – four days after doing the same at a party for his film The Five-Year Engagement.
On Sunday, Williams, 31, arrived at New York City eatery Abe & Arthur's first, with Segel showing up 10 minutes later.

New movie, new love.
Michelle Williams and Jason Segel had plenty to feel giddy about Wednesday night, as the new couple attended the premiere of his movie The Five-Year Engagement at the Tribeca Film Festival – and snuggled together at the afterparty.
They were affectionate throughout the night. As the movie ended, he gave her a little kiss on the cheek, as she took off and he stayed in New York's Ziegfeld Theater to chat with friends and well-wishers.

Stars came out to celebrate Monday night after the FIJI-sponsored screening of Jeff, Who Lives at Home at Landmark Sunshine Cinemas in N.Y.C. At the afterparty – held at Sons of Essex – Jason Segel held court, graciously greeting friends and well-wishers with a cocktail in hand.
Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi and another of the film's stars, Susan Sarandon, were inseparable; they entered holding hands and spent the evening looking at photos on each other's phones and chatting closely in the VIP area. Padma noshed on some of the appetizers, including truffled mushroom pizza, too.
The film's Ed Helms was also there, with an older couple that appeared to be his parents. – Kate Hogan

"My house is packed with puppets. Like, everywhere. Thank God I have a slightly bigger house now, so I have one room that's sort of dedicated to puppets. But for a long time I lived in a one-bedroom apartment that was just crammed with puppets. It's why I'm still single."

Some people count calories when they want to lose weight. Others turn to fad diets or start hitting the gym.
But for Jason Segel, who recently lost 30 lbs., it was his assistant – and a damning piece of photographic evidence – that did the trick.
"My lowest moment came [when] I shot a movie in New Orleans," the Bad Teacher and How I Met Your Mother star told David Letterman on the Late Show Thursday. "New Orleans is like, the best food and booze anywhere … I really took advantage of it."

Jason Segel and Jack Black would like to serenade you this holiday season with a "rockified" new version of "Little Drummer Boy," following in the footsteps of David Bowie and Bing Crosby, who did a famous version in 1977.
The Gulliver's Travels costars certainly inject some new energy into the old standard – and into an animated video which accompanies the clip (watch it below). As Black tells PEOPLE: "Jason Segel and I wanted to generate some good karmic energy whilst rocking the house with this tasty Classic Jam. We want to send a big shout out to Bing and Bowie. Much love on this outstanding holiday season."
The song goes on sale on iTunes beginning Tuesday, with proceeds going to Blue Star Families, a nonprofit that connects, supports and empowers military families.

Cameron Diaz makes it look so easy – not to mention hilarious!
She and costar Justin Timberlake were caught in what looks like a hysterical moment on the set of their upcoming romantic-comedy Bad Teacher. Joined by Jason Segel, who is also in the film, the former couple was seen chatting, laughing and literally kicking their legs up between takes Wednesday in L.A.
Let's hope the final version is as funny as the outtakes!
