With a handful of episodes left before the cast of How I Met Your Mother go their separate ways, Neil Patrick Harris acknowledges that it's a bittersweet time.
"We're saying the word 'last' a lot more than we ever did," he told PEOPLE on Wednesday during a Television Critics Association set visit. "We knew that it was going to come to an end, but we never really talked about the end, so this season has been filled with a lot of us saying, 'Oh.' "
As Harris and his castmates Cobie Smulders, Josh Radnor, Jason Segel and Alyson Hannigan fielded questions from reporters, both of the actresses said, "You guys really want us to cry."

Holiday travel is awful.
You're lugging around a bulky coat. The lines at the airport are unbearable. And there's always someone insufferable on your plane (and, usually, sitting right next to you).
But it doesn't have to be an express jet to hell. This year, WestJet pulled off the sweetest "miracle" for passengers, with a little help from Santa and his elves (er, their employees). Santa asked passengers what they wanted for Christmas – only to find their presents coming down the baggage shoot when they arrived at their destination.
Plus: Another video that will make you weep, more that will make you laugh, the trailer for the Dr. Who Christmas special, and more of the most important random things online.

Earlier this year, the audience finally met How I Met Your Mother's titular star, and on Monday's season nine premiere, one more person joined that elusive club – just not Ted himself.
Over the course of two back-to-back episodes, Ted's best friend Lily (Alyson Hannigan) met his dream woman on board a train headed to the fictional Farhampton, Long Island, where Robin (Cobie Smulders) and Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) are set to wed. It marked the first major scenes for actress Cristin Milioti, who made her debut as the much-anticipated mother in last May's season finale. As the show progresses towards its series finale in 2014, the audience will continue to learn more about Ted's as-yet unnamed wife-to-be, but in case you missed it, here's what we learned on Monday:

Looks like Jason Segel is enjoying a summer romance.

Is Michelle Williams off the market again?
Over the past month, the actress, 32, has been photographed alongside artist Dustin Yellin, 37, with whom she was seen leaving the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala in New York City.
About a month later, the duo was all smiles on June 3 as they attended a child's birthday party together at a Brooklyn park with Williams's daughter, Matilda in tow.

Just days after their break-up, Jason Segel and Michelle Williams were seen in public – on different ends of the country.
Segel, casual in a blue cardigan, khakis and black sneakers, was buzzing on a scooter through the streets of West Hollywood on Saturday on a burgundy Vespa.
Segel, 33, shoots How I Met Your Mother in Los Angeles, while Williams, 32, who is the mother of 7-year-old Matilda, lives in New York.
On Monday, mom and daughter were seen grocery shopping in Brooklyn.
The long distance apart for Williams and Segel was blamed for their breakup, a source told PEOPLE.

From the outside, it seemed as though Michelle Williams couldn't get enough of boyfriend Jason Segel. In reality, the actress may not have seen him as forever material.
"She cares a great deal for Jason but is not ready to make a commitment," a source tells PEOPLE. "Maybe if they were together day-to-day, she would have more confidence in a future. But not at this time."
Dating for a year, PEOPLE confirmed on Tuesday that the pair called it quits, citing long distance as the primary reason.

The fairytale is over for Michelle Williams and Jason Segel.
The Oz the Great and Powerful star and the How I Met Your Mother actor split a few weeks ago after dating for a year, a source confirms to PEOPLE.
The long distance – Williams, 32, is based in New York City, while Segel, 33, primarily resides in Los Angeles – was the reason behind the breakup, the source adds.
