Jason Segel and Jack Black would like to serenade you this holiday season with a "rockified" new version of "Little Drummer Boy," following in the footsteps of David Bowie and Bing Crosby, who did a famous version in 1977.
The Gulliver's Travels costars certainly inject some new energy into the old standard – and into an animated video which accompanies the clip (watch it below). As Black tells PEOPLE: "Jason Segel and I wanted to generate some good karmic energy whilst rocking the house with this tasty Classic Jam. We want to send a big shout out to Bing and Bowie. Much love on this outstanding holiday season."
The song goes on sale on iTunes beginning Tuesday, with proceeds going to Blue Star Families, a nonprofit that connects, supports and empowers military families.
