Jay-Z Gets Thumbs Up from Noel Gallagher

Jay-Z's controversial appearance at Glastonbury has been given two thumbs up – by the man who questioned hip-hop's place at the English music festival.
The rapper's headlining act was blamed for initially slow ticket sales at the Glastonbury Festival. And one of his fiercest critics was rocker Noel Gallagher of Oasis, who told the BBC: "I'm not having hip-hop at Glastonbury. It's wrong."

Jay-Z, Usher Sing About Joys of Marriage

Jay-Z and Usher have recorded a new song together, "Best Thing" – an ode to their new status as married men.
"Of course, with the talk of both of us now being newlyweds, there is a question as to why, and is it real?" Usher told MTV Base of the song, which is produced by Janet Jackson's beau Jermaine Dupri. "Well, if you hear that [song], you'll understand what [Jay-Z] meant when he says, 'Seeds becomes plants/ Boys become men/ You've got to grow up, not down.' "

Newlyweds Jay-Z and Beyoncé partied with New York Yankee and new dad Alex Rodriguez in New York Tuesday night, where they playfully continued to dodge questions about their April 4 wedding.
After Jay-Z's Madison Square Garden concert, the couple – dressed to match in black and white – separately walked the red carpet leading into the rap mogul's 40/40 club.
Jay-Z jokingly cat-called to his wife as she strutted her stuff in front of cameras and ignored wedding queries, instead telling PEOPLE his fans can expect "more great things" from him: "I've got a couple more albums to give you."

Beyoncé Makes Surprise Appearance at Jay-Z Show

Newlyweds Beyoncé and Jay-Z briefly shared the stage on Friday at New York City's The Heart of the City concert, after the rapper jokingly made fun of his wife's hit song "Crazy in Love."
As part of Jay-Z's regular solo set during his tour with Mary J. Blige, the rapper sits in a DJ booth and plays classics such as "Money Ain't a Thang," and "Hard Knock Life." Every time he plays a song, he cuts it off with an expletive. During the Friday
show, he included his wife's hit "Crazy in Love," which he often does. But this time, after he cut it off, Beyoncé joined Jay-Z on stage and danced to the tune as the crowd cheered.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z are mum, but their paperwork is doing the talking for them: The couple filed their signed wedding license Friday in Scarsdale, N.Y., PEOPLE has confirmed exclusively.
Scarsdale Town Clerk Donna Conkling tells PEOPLE the license – which lists the wedding date as April 4 – was received on Friday afternoon. The couple applied for the license just three days before the ceremony attended by friends and family, including Beyoncé's mother Tina Knowles, her father/manager Mathew, her sister Solange, her Destiny's Child pals Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and the couple's friend Gwyneth Paltrow.

They've yet to confirm their April 4 nuptials, but Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z are certainly acting like newlyweds.
After the rapper's sold-out show at the Hollywood Bowl in L.A. Wednesday night, the inseparable duo headed to his private dinner and after-party at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel's Tropicana Bar. Neither wore a wedding ring, but in all other ways they were the picture of wedded bliss.

How do you top off a super-romantic secret wedding with family, friends and 70,000 orchids? Sure, front-row seats at the April 11 Houston Rockets game are cool, but not exactly honeymoon material.
Since Beyoncé, 26, and Jay-Z, 38, exchanged vows in his 13,500-sq.-ft penthouse in Manhattan on April 4, the bride has happily followed her groom to several stops on his "Heart of the City" tour: Greensboro, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas.
But c'mon! Surely the newlyweds – who dated six years before exchanging vows on the forth day of the forth month to honor their love of the number four – can come up with a more fitting end-note to their nuptials? Where should they go for the real honeymoon?

Like many of Jay-Z and Beyoncé Knowles's friends and colleagues, Rihanna had no idea about the happy couple's hush-hush nuptials last week.
"I didn't know!" Rihanna told PEOPLE at the Escada Moon Sparkle/Island Def Jam benefit for her Believe Foundation and DKMS, the world's largest bone marrow donor center. "No one knew!"
