Beyoncé Is 'Nervous' About Performing Post-Motherhood

Jay-Z has decided to put his career on hold a bit for daughter Blue Ivy Carter, but for new mom Beyoncé, the show must go on.
"I'm back to work," the pop diva, 30, says in a video showing the process leading up to her return to the stage Memorial Day weekend at Revel resort in Atlantic City, N.J. "I'm back to business."
But the brief hiatus from her career that she's taken since giving birth does make her feel mixed emotions about returning to the stage.

What started as a guys night out recently for Jay-Z, Jake Gyllenhaal, Pharrell Williams and some other male pals, was soon interrupted by Beyoncé Knowles's mom Tina and sister Solange.
But that didn't seem to be a problem. The gang, who partied at the D'usse Cognac Launch party at The Top of the Standard in New York City, seemed in great spirits, hanging out in a roped-off section, watching the Knicks basketball game on TV.
"They were very cheerful, laughing and enjoying the game," an onlooker tells PEOPLE. "Several partygoers tried to steal pics."

Blue Ivy Carter is going to grow to be one lucky lady.
Not only was she born to power couple Beyoncé and Jay-Z, but if her dad, 42, has his way, she's going to get whatever she wants.
"I imagine I'll take things I learned from my mom and things I've learned from raising my nephews and apply that," the rapper says in a clip from Oprah's Master Class: Special Edition, which airs Sunday on OWN at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
"Then at the end of the day, I just know I'll probably have the worst, spoiled little kid ever."

When she arrived at the hospital last January, Beyoncé came with the best of intentions for her daughter's delivery.
"I did have a fresh eyebrow wax," PEOPLE's 2012 Most Beautiful Woman says with a laugh.
"I got my nails done, I got my feet done, had my hair done, and I had my little lip gloss."
But, in the end, Blue Ivy's birth trumped all the new mom's primping and prepping to meet her baby girl.

Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z may have brought baby Blue Ivy with them on their Caribbean vacation, but that doesn't mean the new mom can't let her hair down – or up, as the case may be.
The singer seemed delighted during a solo jet ski outing earlier this week, and struck a pose for Jay-Z, who was snapping pictures on the beach, by holding her ponytailed hair high above her head.
After giving birth to Blue Ivy in January, Beyoncé has been enjoying some well-deserved family vacation time before getting back to work with concerts scheduled for Memorial Day weekend in Atlantic City.

Blue Ivy Carter Goes Sailing in the Caribbean

Blue Ivy Carter enjoyed the feel of the ocean breeze – well, her feet did, anyway – as mom Beyoncé and dad Jay-Z relaxed aboard a yacht in the Caribbean this weekend.
The 3-month-old was mostly covered up in Beyoncé's baby carrier, but her little feet dangled out the bottom – unlike on other outings in New York City back in February, when she was completely bundled.
It's back to work soon for Beyoncé, though. The pop star is scheduled to perform three concerts over Memorial Day weekend at Atlantic City's new $2.4 billion Revel Resorts.

Beyoncé Shares Personal Photos on New Tumblr

Beyoncé, who just celebrated her fourth wedding anniversary (on 4/4 no less!) with Jay-Z, is letting fans have a "view into her world."
The ultra-private music mogul launched a special Tumblr page Thursday featuring personal photos. (Beyoncé's big launch is Beyonce.com, and the Tumblr is part of the site.) In a message to fans, she writes, "it's been a long time coming – but I finally have my own place on the web."
Besides an artful gallery of stylish photos, the multi-media site includes sections on "The Latest" (with a pre-sale announcement for Revel), "Music," "Vault" (which she calls "the heart of my site"), "Beyhive" (for the official fan collective), "Performance" (listing her Atlantic City concerts on May 25-27) and "I Am" (offering a private message that clicks onto more photos).

Will husband Jay-Z be on daddy duty?
More than two months after welcoming daughter Blue Ivy in January, Beyoncé announced she will return to the stage in May for a three-date Memorial Day weekend celebration, according to her official website.
The new mom's performances, slated for May 25-27, will mark the opening of Atlantic City's $2.4 billion Revel Resorts, and she's set to perform inside the 5,050-seat Ovation Hall.
Tickets go on sale April 6.
