Jenna Fischer Steps Out with New Boyfriend

The Office's Jenna Fischer has revealed the identity of her new boyfriend after they stepped out together at Sunday's Emmy Awards.

He's writer Lee Kirk – or, as Fischer playfully told PEOPLE, "my super cute boyfriend."

The actress and animal-rescue advocate has been dating Kirk since January (she and screenwriter/director James Gunn announced their split last September).

"We met through mutual friends," Fischer, 34, tells PEOPLE of Kirk. "We've actually known each other for a long time. He went to college with an old friend of mine."

Jenna Fischer: Angela Kinsey an 'Amazing Mother'

Angela Kinsey may seem chilly on The Office. But Jenna Fischer says Kinsey, who gave birth May 3 to her first child, Isabel Ruby, is an "amazing mother."

"I'm beyond impressed," Fischer writes on her MySpace blog. "She has the calm of someone who's been through it before. The sleep deprivation makes her funny to talk to. I was visiting her one day, and she fell asleep in the middle of a conservation. Then, she woke up and kept talking as if nothing had happened!"

Jenna Fischer Has Her First 'Paparazzi Moment'

You know you've made it in Hollywood when someone cares that you went grocery shopping. Such was the case for The Office's Jenna Fischer, who has alerted fans on her MySpace blog that "It finally happened! I was stalked by the paparazzi!!!"

Fischer, 33, says the incident occurred while she and her sister were walking out of a Bristol Farms in Beverly Hills. "I walk outside and a photographer pops up from behind some cars and points this HUGE camera in my direction."

Said Fischer: "My first thought was 'Whoa! There must be a famous person shopping here!' I turned around to see who it was. That's when I realized the famous person was me. I freaked out."

Jenna Fischer During Writers' Strike: Jumping Rope and Going to the Dentist

Ever wonder what the stars are doing to pass the time during the writers' strike? For The Office's Jenna Fischer, it involves "doing all the things I can't normally do during the week, like go to the dentist," the actress, 33, tells MySpace for the debut of the site's new Celebrity page. (The site, launched Thursday, also features news from PEOPLE.com.) As for Fischer, she also learned that she's still not ready for jump-roping after injuring her back last May. (She's currently undergoing physical therapy.) "It's too soon to jump rope," she says. "My body can't take any type of high-impact activity. I learned this quickly."

The Office's Jenna Fischer Talks About Her Split

Jenna Fischer – who separated from writer-director James Gunn in September after six years of marriage – still sounds awfully optimistic about the state of their union.

"It's sad, but we remain close," the Office star told Sunday's Parade magazine. "My husband got the dog, and I got the cat. But the dog and cat miss each other, so we must have a sleepover one of these days."

Could a full-on reconciliation be in the cards? "Everything is possible," said the 33-year-old actress. "That would be the best!"
