The Jackson family turmoil appears to be settling down as matriarch Katherine Jackson was reinstated as a guardian of her grandchildren and Jermaine Jackson backed off on a challenge of his brother Michael's will.
At a hearing Thursday, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff found that Katherine was doing a "wonderful job" with the late singer's kids, Prince, 15, Paris, 14, and Blanket, 10.

Just days after matriarch Katherine Jackson was reported missing – and then located in Arizona – the Jackson family seems to be facing more drama after police were called to the family home on Monday.
The L.A. Sheriff's department responded to a family disturbance call at Katherine's home on Monday afternoon after Janet, Randy and Jermaine Jackson reportedly tried to take Michael Jackson's children Prince, Paris and Blanket from the compound.
"Deputies determined that a physical altercation had occurred of misdemeanor battery," said L.A. Sheriff spokesman Steve Whitmore. "It involved members of the Jackson family. A report was taken. No arrests were made, and the investigation is ongoing."
Whitmore confirmed that the altercation involved "two people," although he did not specify which two. He did add, "If we thought an arrest should have been made, we would have made it."

Katherine Jackson – mother of Michael and Janet Jackson – has been reported missing, according to the L.A. County Sheriff's Department.
According to a report filed by her nephew Trent late Saturday night, Jackson had not been heard from in a week. Paris Jackson confirmed the report via Twitter, writing: "yes, my grandmother is missing. i haven't spoken with her in a week i want her home now."
But her son, Jermaine Jackson, seemed to deny the missing person report, Tweeting Friday: "I want to reassure everyone (inc all sudden medical experts) that Mother is fine but is resting up in AZ on the order of a doctor, not us."

A lawyer for Katherine Jackson is zapping reports that Jermaine Jackson's 13-year-old son Jaafar allegedly tried to harm the late King of Pop's son Blanket with a stun gun.
The L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services visited the Jacksons' Encino, Calif., home, but the family insists it was much ado about nothing.
"Blanket Jackson never saw or heard the stun gun," says attorney Adam Streisand in a statement. "Neither did Paris Jackson. Prince saw the stun gun in the possession of security. There is no second stun gun."
