Originally posted 08/02/2012 06:00AM
Jennie Garth made sure Monday night was relaxing for herself and for her three kids.
The actress and daughters Luca, Lola and Fiona came through 104.3 My FM's My Big Night Out 2 VIP lounge, at the Hollywood Bowl, where she was treated to a paraffin massage from a Burke Williams masseuse.
"Jennie told her kids to take photos with her," an onlooker tells PEOPLE. "She looked amazing and appeared to have shed some pounds. She seemed like she was in a great mood."
Following her pampering session, the newly single star rewarded her little ones for their patience by taking them to watch Kelly Clarkson in concert later that night.
The pop star performed a slew of hits, including, "My Life Would Suck Without You," "Since U Been Gone" and "Stronger," along with a cover of Fun.'s "We Are Young."
Just a couple of days earlier, the Bowl brought out Jerry O'Connell and Eric Stonestreet, who came to watch a performance of The Producers. The musical stars O'Connell's wife Rebecca Romijn, and Stonestreet's on-screen Modern Family beau, Jesse Tyler Ferguson.
"Jerry and Eric both looked beaming and happy," an onlooker tells PEOPLE. "Mel Brooks took the stage at the end."

Modern Family Cast Sues Over 'Illegal Contracts'

On TV, they play one big (mostly) happy family.
But the cast of Modern Family is facing some serious off-screen drama after six of the show's lead actors filed a lawsuit Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court to void their contracts, according to legal documents obtained by PEOPLE.
Sofia Vergara, Ty Burrell, Julie Bowen, Eric Stonestreet, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Ed O'Neill, who was originally negotiating separately, say their 20th Century Fox Television contracts break California's "7-Year Rule," which prohibits personal services contracts that span longer than seven years. (Their current contracts oblige them to the Emmy-winning ABC series from 2009 to 2016.)

Could there be an (on-screen) wedding in their future?
Modern Family stars Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet, who play partners Mitchell and Cameron on the Emmy-winning ABC comedy, posted a photo of themselves on their WhoSay pages, asking, "How could you not want to see us tie the knot?" just as it appeared they may be closer to legally being able to do so.
On Tuesday, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that California's Proposition 8, which bans same-sex marriage in the state, was unconstitutional.
Ferguson also Tweeted: "Historic! #Prop8 is unconstitutional. @AFER & I won’t stop until ALL Americans are #free2marry."
On the show, their characters also have a daughter together, Lily, but are not officially married.

It's a familiar motif of the awards season speech: The winner steps up to the podium and tells the kids at home that they should be asleep, not watching TV.
That was just the plan for Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who told Ryan Seacrest on the Golden Globes red carpet that he had a message for one of his little ones – Morkie pup, Leaf.
"You be good, Leaf, and go to bed," Ferguson said. "That's what I'm going to say when I win. Oh wait – I wasn't nominated."
