Ryan Seacrest opened up Thursday's American Idol episode with a nod to Randy Jackson's announcement that he's moving on after 12 seasons.
"A little later on we'll be revealing who is leaving our show," Ryan said, standing behind the only remaining original judge. "A little heads up?"
Randy just chuckled.
The joke is that Ryan could have been talking about Idol's super talented top three – Kree Harrison, Angie Miller and Candice Glover, who performed three songs each on Wednesday. They faced one last hurdle before the season 12 finale: another elimination night.

A dapper Patrick Schwarzenegger had an equally fetching prom date – with an equally famous parent.
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver's 18-year-old son took Jade Iovine, the daughter of Interscope Geffen A&M Records chairman and American Idol mentor Jimmy Iovine to his recent prom – and recently shared a photo of them all dressed up on his Twitter account. In the photo, a tuxedo-sporting Schwarzenegger poses as Iovine, in white, pins a boutonnière on his jacket.
"Prom with my best friend @jadeiovine," he Tweeted along with the picture.
The main event took place April 28 at the Fairmount Hotel in Santa Monica, and Schwarzenegger has decided to attend University of Southern California in the fall.
