Honey Boo Boo Alana Thompson & Mama June Shannon Make Late Night Debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live

It may have been past her bedtime, but Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star Alana Thompson and Mama June Shannon brought the laughs to late night Monday on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Alana – who is 7 years old – handled the appearance with her plenty of attitude, and Kimmel kicked off the hilarious segment by asking the mother-daughter duo about their infamous nicknames, then the conversation quickly turned to another famous reality television family: the Kardashians.
"Do you watch the Kardashians ever?" Kimmel asks.
"No," June says.
"You don't watch them? Because their show is making millions of dollars and their show is just about as popular as yours is," Kimmel says. "Now are you guys making millions of dollars, too?"

A slam dunk for Twilight!
Robert Pattinson stepped out Sunday night to attend Emmy host Jimmy Kimmel's after party at Soho House in Los Angeles.
Joined by a male friend, Pattinson was dressed casually in a baseball cap and jacket, but every girl in the room was "trying to get his attention," an onlooker tells PEOPLE.
Inside the star studded event, guests sipped on Don Julio margaritas and Bulleit Bourbon Old Fashioned cocktails and snacked on sliders from Umami Burger.
Samantha Ronson deejayed a set full of current hits and classic rock while nominees, winners and guests including Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi, Downton Abbey's Michelle Dockery, L.A. Laker Kobe Bryant and more enjoyed the evening.
"At one point Rob approached Kobe to say hi and tell him he was a big fan," the source adds. "Kobe said the same right back to him!"

Jimmy Kimmel joked that, during commercials, the Emmys looked like this: "all your favorite TV stars all in one room, checking their phones and ignoring each other."
But the picture was much different – and a whole lot more fun – after the show.
The official HBO Emmy After Party, held at the Pacific Design Center Sunday night, played host to many happy nominees, including lead actress in a drama series winner Claire Danes.

In addition to the LOL moments, there was an incredibly touching one, too, when Michael J. Fox took the stage to present and drew a thundering standing ovation from his peers.
"Steady as a rock!" the actor, who's been battling Parkinson's Disease for two decades, told the crowd from the stage.

Awards show openers aren't usually known for their brevity, but Kimmel kept his monologue short and sweet. "The important thing is we get out of here and you can put on your fat pants." He kept up the laughs later on as well, quipping, "If you ever wondered what happens during the commercial breaks backstage, try to imagine all your favorite TV stars all in one room, checking their phones and ignoring each other."

Late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel is engaged!
PEOPLE has learned that Kimmel, 44, popped the question to girlfriend Molly McNearney, 34, while vacationing in South Africa's Kruger National Park.
Kimmel's rep confirmed the news but declined to offer additional details.
Kimmel, the host of ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and McNearney, a co-head writer on the show, started dating in 2009.

Could Jimmy Fallon be the next Oscar host?
There's buzz building about the possibility of NBC's late night host taking the reins on Hollywood's biggest awards show.
According to a report in the Los Angeles Times, Fallon, 37, is in talks with the Motion Picture Academy of Arts & Sciences to follow in the footsteps of comedians like Steve Martin, Jon Stewart, Ellen DeGeneres and Billy Crystal, who did the deed earlier this year.
Fallon's boss at Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Saturday Night Live executive producer Lorne Michaels, is also being considered to produce the 2013 telecast.

Jimmy Kimmel Announces Emmy Awards Nomination in Pajamas

If Thursday's announcement of the Emmy Awards nominations is any indication, TV fans will be laughing out loud when the show, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, airs live Sept. 23.
That's because Kimmel, who replaced Nick Offerman late Wednesday night, was a hoot while delivering the news alongside Scandal star Kerry Washington. She stepped up to the podium at the Television Academy's Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in Los Angeles in a pretty white, flowered top with her hair slicked back. Kimmel, on the other hand, was disheveled in lavender pajamas.

Early Thursday morning, Scandal star Kerry Washington and late night's Jimmy Kimmel are revealing the nominees for this year's Primetime Emmy Awards.
PEOPLE.com is streaming live coverage at 8:40 a.m. ET of the announcements from the Television Academy's Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in Los Angeles.
The 64th annual Primetime Emmy Awards, hosted by Kimmel, will air Sunday, Sept. 23, at 7 p.m. ET on ABC, from the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live.
Last year's most nominated shows included 30 Rock, The Good Wife and Mad Men. Modern Family also came out big, winning best comedy series, with stars Ty Burrell and Julie Bowen landing best supporting actor and actress.

Chris Colfer is dealing with an identity crisis at home.
During an appearance Monday on Live! with Kelly, the Glee star talked about his recently adopted, 22-lb. senior cat, Brian.
"He's a lot of cat," Colfer said of his 8-year-old brown tabby. "He's a little bit in denial about his size and thinks he's very, very small. I go home and find him stuffed in all kinds of things."
