It may have been past her bedtime, but Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star Alana Thompson and Mama June Shannon brought the laughs to late night Monday on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Alana – who is 7 years old – handled the appearance with her plenty of attitude, and Kimmel kicked off the hilarious segment by asking the mother-daughter duo about their infamous nicknames, then the conversation quickly turned to another famous reality television family: the Kardashians.
"Do you watch the Kardashians ever?" Kimmel asks.
"No," June says.
"You don't watch them? Because their show is making millions of dollars and their show is just about as popular as yours is," Kimmel says. "Now are you guys making millions of dollars, too?"

A slam dunk for Twilight!
Robert Pattinson stepped out Sunday night to attend Emmy host Jimmy Kimmel's after party at Soho House in Los Angeles.
Joined by a male friend, Pattinson was dressed casually in a baseball cap and jacket, but every girl in the room was "trying to get his attention," an onlooker tells PEOPLE.
Inside the star studded event, guests sipped on Don Julio margaritas and Bulleit Bourbon Old Fashioned cocktails and snacked on sliders from Umami Burger.
Samantha Ronson deejayed a set full of current hits and classic rock while nominees, winners and guests including Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi, Downton Abbey's Michelle Dockery, L.A. Laker Kobe Bryant and more enjoyed the evening.
"At one point Rob approached Kobe to say hi and tell him he was a big fan," the source adds. "Kobe said the same right back to him!"

Jimmy Kimmel joked that, during commercials, the Emmys looked like this: "all your favorite TV stars all in one room, checking their phones and ignoring each other."
But the picture was much different – and a whole lot more fun – after the show.
The official HBO Emmy After Party, held at the Pacific Design Center Sunday night, played host to many happy nominees, including lead actress in a drama series winner Claire Danes.

5. Jimmy Kimmel's Short & Sweet Opener
Awards show openers aren't usually known for their brevity, but Kimmel kept his monologue short and sweet. "Let's not forget, in a way, all of you are winners tonight, but in a much more literal way, most of you will be losers," he joked. "The important thing is we get out of here and you can put on your fat pants." He kept up the laughs later on as well, quipping, "If you ever wondered what happens during the commercial breaks backstage, try to imagine all your favorite TV stars all in one room, checking their phones and ignoring each other."

Could Jimmy Fallon be the next Oscar host?
There's buzz building about the possibility of NBC's late night host taking the reins on Hollywood's biggest awards show.
According to a report in the Los Angeles Times, Fallon, 37, is in talks with the Motion Picture Academy of Arts & Sciences to follow in the footsteps of comedians like Steve Martin, Jon Stewart, Ellen DeGeneres and Billy Crystal, who did the deed earlier this year.
Fallon's boss at Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Saturday Night Live executive producer Lorne Michaels, is also being considered to produce the 2013 telecast.

If Thursday's announcement of the Emmy Awards nominations is any indication, TV fans will be laughing out loud when the show, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, airs live Sept. 23.
That's because Kimmel, who replaced Nick Offerman late Wednesday night, was a hoot while delivering the news alongside Scandal star Kerry Washington. She stepped up to the podium at the Television Academy's Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in Los Angeles in a pretty white, flowered top with her hair slicked back. Kimmel, on the other hand, was disheveled in lavender pajamas.
Here are the Emmy host's best lines:
