Last week could definitely have gone better.
I just lost my place and never really found my way back to the dance. I panicked a bit, and that's never good.
Friends told me that they couldn't see the missed steps – and my daughters had a blast at the show because it was Disney Week – but I'm my toughest critic and I was so bummed about my performance.
But Keo could not have been a better partner.
He saw me starting to freak out and he just kept telling me, "You've got this. Let's have a good time. You're doing great."

Leave it to Dave Coulier to write a children's book about a family of boogers. And leave it to his Fuller House castmates to join him for the shenanigans!

Last week was emotional, but I could not have been happier to get out there and share my story.
I thought Keo had crafted a beautifully cathartic experience for me. He chose to end the song on a high note, just like where I am in my life right now.
That said, I was so happy to get the dance over with. It was extremely emotionally demanding and I was giving it my all every time we rehearsed it so I was emotionally exhausted when I got home Monday night.

We made it through the first elimination!
I was really happy with how our first week went, but I have to admit I was a bit nervous for Keo at the end of the first elimination episode.
Keo has had the experience of going home first before [with Olympian Lolo Jones season 19] and he has told me how he gets anxious every time those lights dim and the drums start pounding as they reveal who is in the bottom. And I have to say, now that I've gone through it, it has really sunk in that the competition is on.

Keo and I could not have been happier with how the first live show went.
There was a lot of nervous energy leading up to the premiere, but we went out there and had so much fun. Getting great feedback from the judges was just the icing on top.
