Joe Manganiello bares all for his role as a stripper in Magic Mike, opening next Friday. But even now that filming has ended, he's still not shy about stripping down – sort of.
Manganiello, 35, appeared on The Soup this week, donning a prosthetic beer gut.
"That's right, ladies," the True Blood star deadpanned. "Soak it in. The six-pack is here."

Joe Manganiello brought the heat during a weekend getaway at Las Vegas's Hard Rock Hotel & Casino – where the True Blood hottie partied by the pool.
In Sin City to host the weekly Rehab pool party, the hunky actor spent time hanging out with the hotel's resident deejays outside. He was also spotted chatting about his upcoming flick Magic Mike, in which he plays a stripper.
Earlier, he fueled up for the day with a breakfast of pancakes, eggs and coffee at Mr. Lucky's Café, followed by some R&R at the hotel's Reliquary Spa, where Manganiello got a massage.
After the pool party, Manganiello was spotted dining at 35 Steaks + Martinis with a few friends. But it was a meat-free night for the muscular star, who ordered only a diet soda and wedge salad.

Pregnancy apparently isn't keeping Anna Paquin off of her feet.
Fresh from True Blood's latest season premiere event, the expectant starlet accompanied hubby Stephen Moyer and some castmates to new Hollywood night club Lure to celebrate at the after party.
"Anna showed off her baby bump and talked about the joys of pregnancy," an onlooker at the club says.
Fellow fan favorite Joe Manganiello (who stars in the upcoming Magic Mike) was also present at the party, "enjoying food, music and attention," the source says, adding that he "was courteous to his fans and was even taking pictures with some of them."

Matthew McConaughey and Joe Manganiello joke around about what went into preparing for their roles as strippers in Magic Mike – but Channing Tatum, who actually worked as one in real life, says there really wasn't anything fun about it.
"You're just a guy taking off his clothes, looking like a fool in a stupid outfit," Tatum, 32, tells Out magazine in its June/July cover story.
The toughest part for the actor was the actual removing of the clothing.

When Matthew McConaughey gets cheeky in his new movie, Magic Mike, rest assured, it's definitely him.
"That's all me up there," the actor tells the Advocate in a new interview of (mostly) baring it all in his striptease scene. "I don't need a stunt a––."
As for the exposure, the actor says he just wanted to go for it.
"I said, 'I gotta dance, man.' I would regret it for the rest of my life if I was in a male stripper movie and didn't get up there and strip myself," he says, noting that his big scene wasn't initially in the script. "At first it was scary as hell, but then it became like a drug and I couldn't wait to do it again."

For True Blood's Joe Manganiello, playing a stripper for the upcoming movie Magic Mike meant wearing a thong for the first time.
"I wore these little thongs that literally go up your butt, and it definitely takes getting used to," Manganiello, 35, told PEOPLE at the IWC Schaffhausen watch boutique opening in New York.
"It was uncomfortable at first. It sort of felt like a wedgie," he said, "but once you get into the routine of wearing one, you know what to do and you just do your thing. We all had to suffer a bit for our craft."

For a movie about male strippers, the trailer for Magic Mike (watch below) offers an appropriately tantalizing tease – and allows Channing Tatum to show off the moves he perfected in that line of work once upon a time.
From the moment it begins, the trailer is the Channing show, as he leads costar Alex Pettyfer into an all-girl party dressed as police officers.
Soon, we see Tatum, 31 – as the title character – grinding, break-dancing, flipping and spinning on stage at a strip club, putting on a bravura performance for an adoring crowd. (Only later does it become clear that he's conflicted about his career.)

Joe Manganiello has plenty of experience stripping down for his role as Alcide Herveaux on True Blood – and there's nothing wrong with that, says the hunk.
"As far as the butt cheeks stuff goes, it just makes sense" Manganiello, 35, tells OUT magazine's March issue, of his frequent nudity on HBO's hit series.
"It's not gratuitous; it's realistic," he says. "If you're a werewolf and you transform, you lose everything and there are your butt cheeks."

Another sweet couple at the HBO soiree: Heidi Klum and Seal, who were late arrivals at the bash. The two hung out by the bar, and as Klum finished her cocktail, Seal came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist, kissing her on the cheek.
