Chrissy Teigen's taste buds will be in for a treat when she ties the knot with John Legend this fall.
"He's such a romantic. He's so sweet," Teigen told PEOPLE about her husband-to-be at Surrender Nightclub's Summer of Swim party in Las Vegas on Friday. Even sweeter? What Teigen's plan for dessert.
"Food is really important to me," said the model and Model Employee host. "I'm not a big sweets person, which is why I'm really specific about the cake, which is going to be a really multi-layer cake. It's layers and layers of crepe and pastry creme in between with raspberry sauce."

Chrissy Teigen is getting into the wedding spirit. With a few months to go until her fall nuptials to John Legend, the host of VH1's Model Employee got in some practice, by serving as ring bearer in a mock wedding at Campari's Annual Bartender Bash in New York.
"I'm excited. I can't wait for the ceremony. [John] and I have been working and traveling so much that we just let our wedding planner do everything," Teigen told PEOPLE on Sunday night. "We're not neurotic about it. I just want to finally see all of my friends in one area."
She added, "We don't mean to be tight-lipped, but we have to save something."

John Legend is telling all about his wedding to model Chrissy Teigen – except the date.
"It's going to be good music, good food and a good time," he said at the Yahoo! On the Road tour, where he performed in N.Y.C. Friday night.
And although they may be leaving many of the details up to the planner, the singer, 34, who will release his album Love in the Future later this year, says he does have a wedding song in mind.
"There's a song on my album that actually could be pretty good for the wedding. It's called 'All of Me' and it's inspired by Chrissy. She loved the song and cried when she heard it," he said.

Viva Las Vegas!
Chrissy Teigen, 27, and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover girl Kate Upton, 20, were joined by a slew of fellow models who traveled from Newark, N.J., to Sin City recently, and the ladies gave PEOPLE.com a behind-the-scenes look at their trip-planning.
"I just thought I'd show you what's in my purse, because it's kind of fascinating, actually," Teigen said, while pulling out several bags of hair extensions. "I have multitudes of hair."
But as John Legend's fiancée points out, the "creme de la creme" of her handbag contents were yet to come.

Grammy-award winner John Legend honored the five winners of PEOPLE's 2012 Teacher of the Year awards at a luncheon at the Time Life building in New York on Wednesday.
The five winners are Libby Curran, a special education teacher in Newport, N.H., Robert Vega, a music teacher at Rauner College Prep in Chicago, Jennifer Bohn, who teaches leadership at Evans High School in Orlando, Fla., Brian Copes, a pre-engineering teacher at Calera High School in Calera, Ala., and Arwen Imai Matthews, a science teacher at KIPP 3D Academy in Houston, were celebrated for their innovation in and out of the classroom.
The winners and their guests dined on watercress, candied walnut and goat cheese salad, herb roasted chicken with whipped potatoes, caramelized onions and sautéed Swiss chard and vanilla apple crisp with Chantilly créme.
"I am so inspired by the work of the teachers we honored. Having great teachers is the single most important factor in giving our kids a great education, and it's crucial that we recognize and reward the excellent work teachers do and give them the tools they need to succeed," Legend, who helped select the winners, told PEOPLE.

Primetime's newest singing competition, ABC's Duets, premiered Thursday with the show's four mentors – Clarkson", John Legend, Jennifer Nettles and Robin Thicke – taking the stage to perform one of their own songs with each of their two protégés.
Clarkson quickly found herself the underdog. The former American Idol winner's teammates, Jordan Meredith and Jason Farol, claimed the bottom two spots based on scores from the other coaches after their renditions of Clarkson's "Stronger" and "Breaking Your Own Heart," respectively.
One of Nettles's contestants, J Rome, took the top spot after his duet with Nettles on Sugarland's "Tonight."
