Pete Wentz: 'John Mayer Is One Of My Favorite Dudes'

Pete Wentz has a lotta love for his boy John Mayer.
"John Mayer is one of my favorite dudes," the Fall Out Boy, 29, writes on his blog, "A Homeboy's Life."
"Not even in some fantasy way," writes Wentz. "Just in the way that he is in on the joke, while you are simply laughing at it."
This isn't the first time Wentz has given Mayer, 30, kudos. The two artists expressed their mutual admiration for one another on their respective blogs back in May.

Actor Gary Busey may have ruffled a few feathers at the Oscars this year when he smooched a stunned Jennifer Garner. But he still knows how to tickle John Mayer's funnybone.
"Gary Busey ... the guy is brilliant," the Grammy-winner announced on his blog Friday.

John Mayer: I Once 'Hooked Up' with a Fan

John Mayer might be keeping mum about his current steamy relationship with Jennifer Aniston, but the soulful singer opened up Tuesday night about a past relationship – with a nameless fan.
During an intimate performance at the Z100 Lounge at New York City’s Spotlight Live nightclub for radio station Z100, Mayer was asked by a concert-goer if he had ever "hooked up" with a fan from a performance. Mayer responded, "Do you respect my honesty? Yes, I have."
After a resounding response of approval from the crowd, Mayer laughed and said, "But that was before camera phones were around!"

The rock life seems to appeal to Jennifer Aniston, as she continued to follow boyfriend John Mayer on his U.S. tour this past weekend. The latest stop on the Mayer-Aniston journey: Rothbury, Mich.
The star of the upcoming film Marley & Me watched Mayer’s set Sunday at the Rothbury Festival from off stage, while he crooned for 90 minutes.
The Detroit News reports that photographers used telephoto lenses to attempt to get a shot of Aniston.

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer were together again for the second stop on his summer tour, which hit St. Louis Thursday night. But rather than acknowledge her presence in the crowd, Mayer teased his audience about interest in his personal life.
"[Fans] send me links from PEOPLE," he said, marveling at the coverage of his remarks the previous night when he – with Aniston in tow – joked about being the subject of Internet rumors. "That just tempts me to say things." The audience at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in the St. Louis suburb of Maryland Heights roared its approval, but Mayer would not divulge any intimate details.

Jen Helps John Kick Off His Summer Tour

The tour of love continues for Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer.
The actress – who recently returned from checking out her boyfriend's London gigs – headed to Milwaukee, Wisc., Wednesday night, as the Grammy-winning musician kicked off his summer concert tour.
The happy couple arrived at the city's annual Summerfest music festival at around 5:30 p.m. Aniston – wearing black flip flops, a polka dot skirt and a white tank top – and Mayer stepped off the tour bus holding hands, said one festival employee.
"They looked cute together," said the worker. "And she looked like she wasn't trying too hard, like she was just being herself."

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer continued to keep their romance firmly off the radar Saturday.
Slipping unnoticed into the musician's backstage area at the Hard Rock Calling festival in London's Hyde Park, Aniston stood quietly in the wings while the singer ran through a 45-minute set in front of an audience of ten of thousands.
But the actress wasn't just there to lend moral support: wearing a black-and-white floral halter-neck top and faded flared jeans, Aniston busily snapped away with her camera to record Mayer's on-stage performance.

Jennifer Aniston Joins Fans at John Mayer Concerts

Jennifer Aniston made her first appearance at a gig on the European leg of boyfriend John Mayer's tour Friday, and was there again Saturday at the Hard Rock Calling concert in London.
"She was on the side of the stage and really couldn’t be seen by anyone," an onlooker tells PEOPLE. "John didn’t make any call-outs to her during the Hard Rock Calling show, but she was seen hanging out with him in the Artist Area before and after his performance."
On Friday, Aniston arrived at side entrance of his show in gritty Brixton, south London, around 8.30 p.m., looking casual in dark blue jeans and stepping out of a red Range Rover.

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer are both busy working abroad – and making the most of their time overseas.
After Mayer, 30, played a set at Picnic in the Park in Den Haag outside Amsterdam on Sunday, he stuck around until Tuesday afternoon – despite the fact that he was due in the U.K. for a show that night.
Why the extended layover? Aniston, 39, was in town to attend the 2008 Cinema Expo to promote her upcoming film Marley & Me, along with costar Owen Wilson.

John Mayer's Ex 'Happy' About His New Romance

The red-hot romance of John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston got the thumbs-up from one unlikely source: Mayer's former girlfriend, Friday Night Lights star Minka Kelly.
Asked how she feels about her ex's new relationship, Kelly, 27, told PEOPLE at Wednesday's Rock Bodies event, presented by Self magazine, in New York City: "I'm really happy – as long as they're happy, I am."
Mayer, 30, dated Kelly for several months late last year. He and Aniston, 39, were first spotted together in April and have been hot-and-heavy ever since.
