In fact, the pop star, 23, acknowledges that there's always a chance she'll never be in a relationship again.

"I have no idea if I'm going to get married or be single forever or have a family or just be on my own. You know, paint in a cottage by the ocean by myself. I just have no idea and I'm kind of into that."

Originally posted 04/07/2013 11:40PM
On a night dedicated to country, even those of the non-cowboy hat persuasion received a down-home, sweeter-than-sweet tea welcome from Nashville's finest.
Both soul king Stevie Wonder and pop's resident heart-breaker John Mayer took the Academy of Country Music Awards stage Sunday night as Las Vegas enjoyed a taste of the South.
A recently single Mayer joined Brad Paisley to sing the country crooner's "Beat This Summer" in one of Mayer's first live performances since he battled two bouts of vocal cord problems.
Wonder later rocked the ACM stage with nominee Hunter Hayes for a jazzy mashup of their songs "I Want Crazy" and "Sir Duke."

"Listen," he says. "It was a very private relationship going in. It was a private relationship during and it's a private relationship, still. I can understand asking the question." Later, Mayer adds, "I'm on the same journey as everyone else. Coupling is a tricky thing."

That same weekend John Mayer set up his own ideal night in Hollywood. The rocker was spotted at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre on March 16, hanging with close friends, including Saturday Night Live cast member Nasim Pedrad and comedian B.J. Novak, who performed that evening.
"He was definitely low-key but looked like his usual self," says an onlooker. "He was in a good mood and hung out in the lobby afterward talking to his friends."
