Ben Affleck plans to live on $1.50 a day – and he wants you to join him.
While the Oscar winner could certainly afford much more, Affleck is joining other celebrities to shine a light on poverty through the Global Poverty Project's Live Below the Line campaign. That figure represents the extreme poverty line in the U.S. as estimated by the World Bank.
Affleck Tweeted of his efforts: "1.4 billion people live on less the $1.50/day. I'm joining Live #BelowTheLine on behalf of @easterncongo. Will you?" He plans to feed himself on $1.50 for one day, following in the footsteps of other celebrities who have joined the cause to raise awareness of issues of inequality and poverty around the world.

Josh Groban's first taste of the movie industry tasted like … cherries?
While filming Crazy, Stupid, Love, his big-screen debut, the crooner ditched his nice-guy persona to play Emma Stone's bad-boy boyfriend – a comedic role that came with a little romance.
"After one of our scenes, the directors said, 'This is feeling a little goofy. Let's try this with a kiss at the end,' " the freshly minted actor, 30, tells GQ magazine. "And I thought, 'Holy s---! I've never kissed on-camera before. What do I have to do? I didn't take that class in college.' "

Katy Perry and Josh Groban may sound like a perfect couple, but the two singers are not romantically involved, according to his rep.

The night was a tribute to Neil Diamond, but it was Jennifer Hudson's moving take on his 1969 hit "Holly Holy" that brought down the house.
Wearing a gold jacket and black satin pantsuit, Hudson – backed by three singers – was serious and soulful in her powerful performance, which drew cheers from the audience three times during the song, especially when she hit high notes with a lot of vibrato.
The Los Angeles Convention Center audience of more than 1,500 immediately rose to its feet in a standing ovation as she mouthed the words "thank you" and took a small bow. As she looked up and saw the entire room standing and clapping, a look of genuine surprise came over her face, and her mouth fell open. She again mouthed the words "thank you," and waved to the crowd in appreciation.

Josh Groban condensed 60 years of television history into four minutes, performing a medley of beloved TV show themes – and even changing his voice with each tune – on the Emmy Awards Sunday night.
But how did the singer pull off the marathon performance?
"A lot of rehearsal and a lot of coffee," Groban said backstage at the PEOPLE photobooth, as he received congratulations from passersby.
"I delved into my childhood and even before my childhood," Groban, 27, said of the medley, which wove together iconic themes from Friends, The Jeffersons, Happy Days and many more.

Celine Dion has described Josh Groban's instrument as "the voice of an angel" – and the 27-year-old crooner has no trouble maintaining an equally wholesome image. But in a new Details interview, Groban reveals a wild side – sort of – while reflecting on a hazy trip to Amsterdam. While playing poker with his bandmates, the singer asks, "Hey, do you remember, in Amsterdam, like, how funny bowling got all of a sudden?" As his bandmates crack up, he continues: “We were in that café – um, for coffee. And, um, it was on TV and we're like, 'Oh, bowling's on!' And then, like, an hour later we were like, 'Look at the way they're squatting!'"
