James Marsden & Josh Hopkins Compete in a Triathlon

James Marsden competed in the Nautica South Beach Triathlon (to help raise money for St. Jude's Children's Hospital) – and he had some celebrity support at the event. Cougar Town's Josh Hopkins convinced him to participate, he told fans. Marsden was part of a relay team and did the bike portion of the event. And he must have competed well: his team took first place in their division! Unfortunately, though, Hopkins injured himself on the final leg and wasn't able to do the four-mile run. – Joey Bartolomeo

Following the recent emergence of vacation photos of Cougar Town actor Josh Hopkins with costar Courteney Cox and her 6-year-old daughter Coco, Hopkins is now setting the record straight about the exact nature of their relationship.
"There [were] a lot of people with us, but we're the only ones you see [in the photos]," Hopkins, 40, tells Access Hollywood about the getaway that set off a media frenzy. "They just frame us two, so it's a story. It's not true."

Cougar beach?
Courteney Cox and 6-year-old daughter Coco were seen Tuesday on the Caribbean sands with Cox's Cougar Town costar Josh Hopkins.
It's the latest sighting of Cox, 46, with Hopkins, 40, since her separation last October from husband David Arquette – they were spotted in Hawaii filming a scene in the pool and in the surf, but in those instances they were on location for the show.

For Courteney Cox, the show – and life – must go on.
"If we weren't friends and she didn't confide in me I wouldn't have any idea that anything was wrong," her Cougar Town costar Josh Hopkins tells PEOPLE. "She comes to set, she knows her stuff, and she's hilarious everyday. She's been amazing."
But Hopkins, who plays Cox's love interest, points out that some of the attention over the actress's split from David Arquette" has been noticed by Cox's 6-year-old daughter Coco.

A sampling of life in the Hollywood rumor mill has left Cougar Town's Josh Hopkins with a bad taste in his mouth.
In particular, the actor is still dismayed by a tabloid report that he wooed and then rejected Jennifer Aniston – a fabrication he says spread like "wildfire" after an innocent dinner in September with his actress friend.
"That was really, really weird and hurtful," Hopkins, 40, tells Parade. "I've been working in this business for a long time, and it's the first time I've ever found myself caught up in the middle of tabloid journalism."

Sure, he may have paid – but Cougar Town star Josh Hopkins says his recent dinner with Jennifer Aniston was just a friendly meal.
"No, no, we're just friends – just friends having dinner," Hopkins told PEOPLE on Sunday at Nautica Malibu Triathlon. "There's a lot of friends I'd less rather go to dinner with," he added, laughing.
Still, Hopkins, 40, insisted on picking up the tab. "Well I'm a southern gentleman," he said, "so I had to do that."
