Diane Kruger & Joshua Jackson: Inside Their Romantic Life in Paris

They have an apartment in Paris and were recently spotted enjoying all that's glamorous about the City of Light – but for longtime couple Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson, it's the simple things about the city that are most special.
"The most romantic thing about Paris for me is just walking around and being immersed in the city," Jackson told PEOPLE Monday at the North American theatrical premiere of Kruger's latest film, Farewell, My Queen at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
"Because Diane has lived there for so long and we have an apartment there, the most romantic part of our day is waking up in our own neighborhood and going down to a cafe and just having breakfast," he said. "Which is a really quotidian thing to do – but to do it in that city is pretty nice."

Diane Kruger and longtime beau Joshua Jackson showed no lack of loving emotion over the weekend.
The actress came out to the Broad Stage in Santa Monica, Calif., to support her man, who performed during The 24 Hour Plays, presented by Montblanc.
"She held back while Josh walked the red carpet," an onlooker tells PEOPLE. "But at the after party, the couple was fully together, while hanging out with Amy Smart."
The typically private pair – the subject of recent engagement rumors – stuck to the back area of the party where they weren't as noticeable, but the source says the twosome were smiling and laughing a lot, adding, "[They seemed] totally in love."
Jackson, who appeared as "a total gentleman," was in a great mood at the event, the source says, adding, "It was really sweet to watch [the couple together]."
Ashley Greene, Brooklyn Decker, Jessica Szohr and Wilmer Valderrama were also among the celebrities who took part in an on-stage performance.

Joshua Jackson helped Prince Albert and former President Bill Clinton raise more than $750,000 for their respective foundations Wednesday night at the first-ever "Nights in Monaco" benefit dinner in Monte Carlo.
Benefit officials said the Fringe star, 33, accompanied by his longtime love, Diane Kruger, won a necklace by designer Carla Amorim with a bid of $45,000. The "Boreal" necklace is made with 11.7 carats of white diamonds set in 18k rose gold.
Jackson was reportedly overheard saying it was an engagement present for her. Sources close to the couple, however, say engagement buzz is not true.

Talk about a Hollywood long distance romance!
Diane Kruger has been jetting around the world – from Berlin to Los Angeles – to promote her latest movie, Inglourious Basterds. Meanwhile, her beau Joshua Jackson has been filming his hit TV show, Fringe, in Vancouver. So how does the couple make it work?
"A lot of flying whenever we can," Kruger, 33, told PEOPLE recently.
Luckily, though, the two have figured out a flexible schedule and can even meet each other in different cities. Since Jackson relocated to Vancouver, the two have even discussed moving in together.

Bring on the boxes and packing tape, Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger are moving in together.
Fringe star Joshua Jackson says that he and girlfriend Diane Kruger, for whom he has the pet name "Mrs.," are planning to settle down as his hit FOX series relocates to Vancouver from Toronto. Jackson tells Entertainment Tonight Canada that he needs to find a place to stay, and he and Kruger have "already made the commitment to do this together."
For now the two keep track of each other from far apart cities by phone, text messaging and video chats, which Jackson, 30, prefers since, "you're there and you can see the face and you can see the sarcasm."
Meanwhile, Kruger, 32, who is appearing in Inglourious Basterds with Brad Pitt, recently mentioned that she and Jackson want to have children. His take on it? "Eventually I hope so," he says, with an additional message for Kruger's mother: "I know you don't speak English very well, but somebody should translate this for you 'Don't worry, you're not about to become a grandmother.' "
