There's a new addition to the Sacred Heart Hospital staff – Scrubs star Judy Reyes has given birth to a girl.

Leila Rey Valencia arrived on Friday, Nov. 27 at 7:11 p.m., weighing in at 6 lbs., 7 oz and measuring 19 inches long. Baby girl is the first child for Reyes, 42, and her boyfriend, director George Valencia.

The actress, who announced her pregnancy in June, confessed to being a bit nervous about impending motherhood.

It'll Be a Girl for Scrubs' Judy Reyes

Scrubs star Judy Reyes is breezing into her third trimester, telling PEOPLE's Celebrity Baby Blog she is feeling "wonderful" and enjoying a complication-free pregnancy.

"I had a little morning sickness in the first trimester but other than that I'm enjoying it," she says.

Sporting a pair of Pea in the Pod’s Secret Fit Belly pants at the launch party for Nicole Richie's new maternity line 'Nicole,' Reyes went on to reveal that her maternal instincts are looking sharp as well! Baby-on-the-way is a girl, which Judy said she suspected all along.

"My twin sister and my younger sister have boys, and they had strong hopes to have boys because we're a family of all girls," she said. "My nieces, who are 20 and 22, are girls. Everyone was praying for boys and I just had a feeling that it was a girl, and it is!"

Time to buy some baby announcements, stat!

Judy Reyes, who stars as the sassy nurse Carla on TV's Scrubs, is expecting her first child with her boyfriend, director George Valencia, her rep tells PEOPLE exclusively.

The Alma Award-winning Reyes, 41, who appeared on HBO's Oz, recently starred in the Lifetime movie Little Girl Lost: The Delimar Vera Story. She also appeared in Glow Ropes: The Rise and Fall of a Bar Mitzvah Emcee, a Los Angeles Latino Film Festival award winner written and co-directed by Valencia.
