No way, says costar Julia Stiles, the target of rumors she was a "third party" in the breakup of Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter.

"I have absolutely nothing to do with the split between Michael and Jennifer," the actress, 29, says in a statement. "We are good friends and enjoyed working together. This is a personal matter between them, and we should respect their privacy."

If you've ever secretly wished that Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie would somehow lose their fortunes and be forced to make a living at the jobs they play at on The Simple Life (um, not that we ever have …), think again: Their favorite vocations from their most recent go-around on the FOX show were caring for kids and animals. "We would not like to work 9 to 5," Hilton revealed recently as one of the things she learned from filming the third season (shocking, we know). But of the jobs the girls liked, "the day care center was neat," said Richie, with Hilton concurring. As for the animals, "the zoo-keeping was fun. To feed the giraffes was cool," said Richie. "It was okay, but I would only take care of giraffes if I worked at a zoo," added Hilton. "I would not take care of the polar bears. You have to cut up all this meat, (including the) horsemeat they eat. It was gross."

Julia Stiles has at least one thing in common with her character in the modern fairy tale The Prince & Me – both are college students, though the character goes to school in Wisconsin and Stiles attends Columbia University in New York. So, if Stiles fell in love with a prince in real life, could she give it all up to be royalty? "Maybe this is me ... being guarded, but I feel like I can have my cake and eat it too," she tells Daily Insider. "Whoever would sweep me off of my feet would appreciate my ambitions. What I look for in a guy is passion and ambition, and there's nothing sexier than intellect. So hopefully that would be reciprocated." Next up for Stiles: the David Mamet play Oleanna, to be staged in London beginning April 22.
