Though boyfriend Chuck Wicks wasn't on hand for Julianne Hough 's 21st birthday blowout at club mur.mur at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, N.J., on Saturday night – where she threw back celebratory shots and threw her hands in the air while dancing to Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal" – he was definitely on her mind.
"Chuck was at my real birthday party," Hough told PEOPLE about her beau and former Dancing with the Stars partner, who had gifted her with a coveted camera during a low-key private celebration days earlier (her actual b-day was July 20). "I've been wanting a camera for so long and he got me one of those nice Nikon D5000s," she reported. "It's awesome. I'm addicted."

LeAnn Rimes: 'I Feel Like People Are Pointing at Me'

LeAnn Rimes has taken the "high road" when it comes to recent allegations of stalking by the wife of her Lifetime movie costar Eddie Cibrian. But that doesn't mean the accusations don't hurt.
"I've been in the public eye since I was 14, so I have a tough skin. It's fine dragging me through the mud, but don't drag my loved ones through it," the singer says in the July issue of Shape magazine. "They're my family, and it hurts them. All I'll say is, I know what's in my heart and what's true.
She adds: "I feel like people are looking and pointing at me like I'm in a fishbowl. I've learned to let it roll off my back, but it's super hard, and it really hurts."

Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Julianne Hough Nominated for Academy of Country Music Awards

The nominees for the 44th annual Academy of Country Music Awards were announced during The Early Show on Wednesday morning, bringing good news for performers including Brad Paisley, Julianne Hough, Carrie Underwood, and Taylor Swift.
Underwood is the lone women nominated for entertainer of the year, and will face off against Paisley (up for six awards), Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban and George Strait.
Kellie Pickler – who made the announcements along with Jessica Simpson, LeAnn Rimes, and Hough – lit up and clapped when Underwood's name was called. "I think it's so amazing a female is up there to represent," she tells PEOPLE.
Adds Rimes, "We're in such a male dominated world, it's great to see a woman there."

Julianne Hough and Boyfriend Talk Marriage

Julianne Hough has found the man she hopes to two-step to the altar with someday – boyfriend Chuck Wicks.
"We definitely want to go there," she tells PEOPLE of the prospect of marrying her country singer boyfriend of five months. "The minute we met it was perfect. The first date we had we both had that feeling like we were going to fall in love with each other."
There's no engagement yet, but Hough, 20, did invite the "Stealing Cinderella" singer, 29, to spend Thanksgiving with her family in Las Vegas, minus brother Derek Hough who was in New York.

Chuck Wicks 'Very Much in Love' with Julianne Hough

Country singer Chuck Wicks has a lot going for him these days. Not only does he have two hit singles out from his album Starting Now, but he also has Dancing with the Stars album Julianne Hough on his arm.
"We're very much in love," the singer tells to PEOPLE.
The two walked the red carpet together for the first time at the CMA Awards earlier this month, and have been gushing about each other ever since.

Dancing's Julianne Hough Hospitalized After Show

Two-time Dancing With the Stars champ Julianne Hough was taken by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after Tuesday night's live results show in which she performed a high-energy dance.
Hough, 20, "was experiencing slight stomach pains all day that increased and the doctors thought it was best to have them checked out," her rep, Cindy Guagenti, tells PEOPLE.
Contrary to other reports, Hough "didn't collapse" at the show, Guagenti says.
In fact, Hough was energetic all afternoon and evening.

Christmas came early for Dancing With the Stars's Julianne Hough.
Five months after breaking onto the country music scene, the professional dancer is releasing The Julianne Hough Holiday Collection, a Christmas CD available exclusively at Target.
"I picked all my favorites – the ones that I want to wrap Christmas presents to, or listen to at a big party," Hough, 20, told PEOPLE after announcing this year's crop of American Music Award nominees in Beverly Hills on Tuesday.

Julianne Hough has two new men in her life.
The dancer-singer will soon be shimmying with a new celebrity partner on Dancing with the Stars – and she's stepping out with country crooner Chuck Wicks.
With her hectic life, Hough told PEOPLE, "It's very difficult to date – I just got kind of lucky!" Indeed, she got to know Wicks this summer when the two joined Brad Paisley on tour.
"He's just a great guy! He's awesome and really, really talented," Hough says of the "Stealing Cinderella" singer. "I'm having a great time getting to know him."

Two-time Dancing With the Stars beauty Julianne Hough was baffled when she woke up Thursday morning to find that several friends had left congratulatory messages on her cell phone.
"I was like, 'Congratulations for what?' " Hough told PEOPLE from Morristown, Ohio, where she was due to perform with Brad Paisley, Jewel and Chuck Wick – and the last thing on her mind were Emmy nominations.
So, when Hough's publicist, Cindy Guagenti, informed the 19-year-old – who this summer hung up her dancing shoes in order to tour and promote her country album – that she was nominated for outstanding choreography for Dancing (one of the eight Emmy nods the ABC show received), Hough was dumbstruck.

Julianne Hough can't just rely on dancing to tone her body, she tells the July issue of Shape magazine. The two-time Dancing With the Stars champion says she works out nearly five times a week.
"There are certain areas of the body that dancing won't tone, so I still stretch and do crunches, lunges, and arm moves just about every day," the 20-year-old says.
