Modern Family Stars Stuck In Elevator

It was a Friday night to remember for a few members of the Modern Family cast – they spent an hour of it trapped in an elevator.
Eric Stonestreet, Julie Bowen and Jesse Tyler Ferguson were on their way to headline a fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City – Stonestreet's hometown – when the elevator at the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center stopped.

Cecconi's in West Hollywood was the site of a celebrity date night as Audi kicked off Golden Globes week with a star-studded bash on Sunday.
Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts arrived holding hands and spent the evening cozied up in one corner of the restaurant's covered patio, an onlooker tells PEOPLE.
With Schreiber sipping on a glass of red wine with one arm draped adoringly around the beaming Watts's waist, the duo couldn't look any more in love.
The couple later caught up with actress Kate Bosworth and her fiancé, director Michael Polish, with Schreiber only breaking away to cross the crowded room and greet a late-arriving, Connie Britton, who was resplendent in an off-the-shoulder floor-length red gown.

What turns Julie Bowen on? Perhaps not surprisingly, it's a guy who can make her laugh.
Asked at a charity event on Saturday whom she would pick as PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive this year, the two-time Emmy-winning Modern Family actress didn't hesitate.
"Stephen Colbert!" she replied. "Other than my husband, it's Stephen Colbert. My hall pass. He's just so funny."
PEOPLE's choice for the title will be revealed Nov. 14. Be one of the first to find out.

Now, just wait a minute. Sure, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who plays Mitchell to Eric Stonestreet's Cam on ABC's Modern Family, may look like they are standing under a wedding canopy in this photo Ferguson posted to his WhoSay account, but the actor also included this caption: "It's not what it looks like. Or is it? Guess you'll have to wait to find out!"

Modern Family's Julie Bowen confesses in the October issue of Health that despite winning an Emmy and being on a hit show, she still gets frazzled around certain stars.
"If I see Angelina Jolie, I have to look away ... She's like a unicorn," she says. "It's like, 'There's Angelina Jolie. We're not going to seriously stand here and pretend it's not like seeing a yeti, right?'"

It's a Modern Family reunion!
After a law suit over "illegal contracts" was resolved – the cast of ABC's hit comedy are back on set.
"First day back of Season Four on Modern Family! Fantastic in every way including Ty's homage to Freddy Mercury," Julie Bowen posted on her WhoSay account with a photo of her costar Ty Burrell sporting some serious facial hair.
Burrell and Bowen have good reason to be in cheerful about their return to work: They – along with Sofia Vergara, Eric Stonestreet, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Ed O'Neill – reportedly received raises and will be making as much as $175,000 per person per episode, with bonuses, along with a cut of back-end profits.

Modern Family Cast Settles Contract Dispute

After a serious standoff with the show's production company, the Modern Family cast can get back to doing what it does best – being funny.
Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet and Sofia Vergara will all receive big raises for the upcoming fourth season, according to the Hollywood Reporter – as much as $175,000 per person per episode, with bonuses, along with a cut of back-end profits – after agreeing new contract terms with producer 20th Century Fox Television.
That's well above their current salaries of about $65,000 per episode.

Modern Family Cast Sues Over 'Illegal Contracts'

On TV, they play one big (mostly) happy family.
But the cast of Modern Family is facing some serious off-screen drama after six of the show's lead actors filed a lawsuit Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court to void their contracts, according to legal documents obtained by PEOPLE.
Sofia Vergara, Ty Burrell, Julie Bowen, Eric Stonestreet, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Ed O'Neill, who was originally negotiating separately, say their 20th Century Fox Television contracts break California's "7-Year Rule," which prohibits personal services contracts that span longer than seven years. (Their current contracts oblige them to the Emmy-winning ABC series from 2009 to 2016.)

Modern Family costars Ty Burrell and Julie Bowen were attached at the hip on Sunday.
Fresh off of their Billboard Music Awards hosting duties, the two actors got the party started at Lily Bar & Lounge at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, where they were joined by a group of about 20 and danced for almost two hours.
"Ty and his wife Holly seemed like they were really enjoying their time together," an onlooker tells PEOPLE. "The group especially liked when the deejay put on a bunch of old-school beats. They had an area to themselves where they sipped on cocktails and hung out a little past midnight."
