"Drew was hugging people while she and Justin were at the counter ordering their sandwiches," an onlooker tells us. "Fans were so excited to see them." The actress kept it casual, in jeans and a men's green, oversized coat – and was soaked from the rain. On the way out, the pair chatted with the manager and some more fans before making a run for it.

• Justin Long treated Drew Barrymore to an authentic Indian dinner at Brick Lane Curry House in New York's East Village. The couple walked in without a reservation and went unrecognized in the restaurant, clearly enjoying each other's company. The two skipped dessert, but they were super sweet with the staff: Long left a nearly 30% tip while Barrymore chatted up the manager.

In matters of the heart, it turns out that Justin Long is neither a Mac nor a PC – he's PDG.
"I hate to brag, but I'm pretty damn good," Long tells PEOPLE, "in terms of loyalty and just being there."
Not that he's perfect. "I have a time-management problem that's not very appealing for girls," he says. "I'm not very good with that – I'd say that's definitely a flaw that I'm trying to work on."

The only thing certain about Drew Barrymore and Justin Long – as far as they're being a couple – is that there's no question they're telegenic together. But that's not enough information for the ever-curious Ellen DeGeneres.
"You were a couple," the inquisitive TV host says to Barrymore on Friday's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "Then you broke up, but you're together a lot now."
"We're good friends, and we're doing a film this summer," replies Barrymore, who herself notes, "and I think it's very confusing."

Drew Barrymore and Justin Long are not shy with their admiration for one another.
"I adore him," Barrymore, who wore a retro flesh-tone Alberta Feretti gown to the premiere of her HBO movie Grey Gardens, said of Long. "And I thank God that my friend supports me the way he does."
The off-again, on-again pair were affectionate the night of the premiere Tuesday. During the screening, she leaned over her seat to give him a quick smooch. At the movie's after-party at the Pierre hotel, Long, 30, and Barrymore, 34, posed for photos together. Later inside the hotel, she dragged Long into the dining room while holding his hand and gave him a long embrace, whispering into his ear.

Friendly exes Drew Barrymore and Justin Long – who after a year as a couple split in July but were seen slow-dancing together in January – will soon have another chance to rekindle old flames when they shoot what Variety calls an "observational comedy," titled Going the Distance.
They'll play a couple threatened by the obstacles posed by their long-distance relationship, reports the trade paper. Barrymore, 34, and Long, 30, previously costarred together in this year's ensemble comedy He's Just Not That Into You, which made $145 million internationally. Its filming also helped nurture the Barrymore-Long relationship.
Despite their breakup, Barrymore insisted, "I love happy endings and believe in them most of the time," while, two months ago, Long told Ellen DeGeneres about his former girlfriend, "She's effortlessly charming and easy to be around." To be continued?
