Since she made her debut in January, Choupette Lagerfeld has quickly amassed a rabid following, outshining even her owner in terms of celebrity.
But with Kim Kardashian's decision to add a Choupette look-alike, a teacup Persian named Mercy, to her family over the weekend, it looks like Hollywood has a catfight on its hands.
But which of these two pampered pets is the fairest feline in town? Let's break it down:

When you're the world's most famous cat, no ordinary birthday cake will do.
So as Choupette turned one over the weekend, Karl Lagerfeld's beloved cat celebrated with a special treat: a "cake" made of shrimp.
"Happy Birthday!!" the proud papa Tweeted on Saturday, sharing an adorable photo of Choupette inspecting her treat, which was topped with a single blue candle.

Karl Lagerfeld may soon be eclipsed by his cat.
By now, everyone is aware that the fashion legend's white longhaired beauty, Choupette (otherwise known as "the most famous cat in the world"), has maids who feed her and keep her diary. In a new interview with Harper's Bazaar, Lagerfeld reveals that Choupette has even more creature comforts at her disposal.
"The doctor does her manicure," he tells the magazine in its September issue. "She hates when we do it ourselves. The only time she makes a scandal is then."

There's no question that Karl Lagerfeld is a household name, but ask the designer about his fame, and the answer might surprise you.
"You know, personally, I don't even think I'm that famous," he told British Vogue. "Now, Choupette really is famous. She has become the most famous cat in the world."
Since Lagerfeld introduced his kitten in January, Choupette has became a sensation, including landing a Twitter account that boats more than 11,000 followers. And her popularity has not gone unnoticed.

Impeccably cool, calm and collected.
That nicely describes Karl Lagerfeld, the legendary German fashion designer. And it describes his wax figure, too! (Okay, the wax figure is probably even calmer.)
An uncanny likeness of Lagerfeld, 78, was unveiled last week in Hamburg, Germany, at the St. Pauli Panopticon, the country's oldest wax museum.
Between the fashionable black attire, black gloves, dark sunglasses and metal chains, it's hard to tell the difference between the wax figure and the real thing!
What would Chanel's creative director say about his wax likeness?

From his runway presentations to his larger-than-life personality, Karl Lagerfeld always goes big, but this time, he went small.
The iconic fashion figure debuted his latest inspiration, a precious little kitten named Choupette (a French pet name akin to Sweetie). Choupette was introduced to the world on Sunday through V Magazine.
"Karl Lagerfeld's Sunday night photo," reads a Tweet signed by Stephen Gan, V's editor-in-chief. "Meet Choupette, his new kitten."
