So as Choupette turned one over the weekend, Karl Lagerfeld's beloved cat celebrated with a special treat: a "cake" made of shrimp.
"Happy Birthday!!" the proud papa Tweeted on Saturday, sharing an adorable photo of Choupette inspecting her treat, which was topped with a single blue candle.

Karl Lagerfeld may soon be eclipsed by his cat.
By now, everyone is aware that the fashion legend's white longhaired beauty, Choupette (otherwise known as "the most famous cat in the world"), has maids who feed her and keep her diary. In a new interview with Harper's Bazaar, Lagerfeld reveals that Choupette has even more creature comforts at her disposal.
"The doctor does her manicure," he tells the magazine in its September issue. "She hates when we do it ourselves. The only time she makes a scandal is then."

Impeccably cool, calm and collected.
That nicely describes Karl Lagerfeld, the legendary German fashion designer. And it describes his wax figure, too! (Okay, the wax figure is probably even calmer.)
An uncanny likeness of Lagerfeld, 78, was unveiled last week in Hamburg, Germany, at the St. Pauli Panopticon, the country's oldest wax museum.
Between the fashionable black attire, black gloves, dark sunglasses and metal chains, it's hard to tell the difference between the wax figure and the real thing!
What would Chanel's creative director say about his wax likeness?
