Last sunset I watched: "Last night. I live in the hills of L.A., and I get a beautiful view of the sunset on my patio. The sunrise, however – that normally escapes me."
Last reality TV I watched: "I love all the cooking shows like Chopped and Top Chef. I've just started to learn to cook in the last couple of years, and I love it. My specialty is a sausage ragu; it takes about six or seven hours to cook. That's almost my mini-vacation, cooking with my fiancé [director Michael Polish] and his daughter. Just having that family time.
Last activity: "Boxing. I've never been a very patient yoga student, so my exercise of choice is something a little bit more action-oriented."

Kate Bosworth's 30th birthday may have been the most lavish period piece in which she's ever starred.
The actress, who hit the milestone Jan. 2, was surprised by her fiancé Michael Polish with an opulent Roaring Twenties-themed birthday bash last Friday at The Edison in Los Angeles.
Some 100 of Bosworth's closest friends and family, including her parents, toasted the actress with Champagne as she gave a short speech about how happy she was and grateful for the people in her life.

Cecconi's in West Hollywood was the site of a celebrity date night as Audi kicked off Golden Globes week with a star-studded bash on Sunday.
Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts arrived holding hands and spent the evening cozied up in one corner of the restaurant's covered patio, an onlooker tells PEOPLE.
With Schreiber sipping on a glass of red wine with one arm draped adoringly around the beaming Watts's waist, the duo couldn't look any more in love.
The couple later caught up with actress Kate Bosworth and her fiancé, director Michael Polish, with Schreiber only breaking away to cross the crowded room and greet a late-arriving, Connie Britton, who was resplendent in an off-the-shoulder floor-length red gown.

Enjoying a snowy pre-holiday getaway to Aspen, Kate Bosworth and fiancé Michael Polish popped into the Audi allroad Aspen holiday party at eatery Casa Tua.
Bosworth, dressed stylishly (and warmly) in a black-and-white Proenza Schouler sweater dress, stuck close to her man as they walked through the hotel lobby on their way to the bash.
There, James Van Der Beek and his wife, Kimberly, sat chatting with friends, dishing on their first-ever snow day with their children, 2-year-old Olivia and 7-month-old Joshua.
Glee star Matthew Morrison and a friend joined the large group, too, after a long day on the slopes. Morrison mingled with giddy Aspen locals, while the Van Der Beeks sipped champagne with Bosworth and Polish, the group smiling and laughing at a table as they got to know each another better.
The foursome enjoyed some of the delicious dinner – Parmesan risotto, steak, roasted chicken, charcuterie and salads – while listening to the music of Michael Jackson, Sting and Rihanna spun by DJ Pesce.
The Van Der Beeks were the first to call it a night, leaving Bosworth and Polish cozied up and Morrison dancing with pals. – Jennifer Garcia

The actress, who recently alluded to a proposal from boyfriend Michael Polish in a travel blog for Vogue, confirmed her engagement on Twitter.
"This photo was taken by my husband-to-be," she Tweeted on Tuesday. "Thank you for all the wonderful engagement wishes. ... We feel truly blessed."

It looks like Michael Polish is more than a boyfriend to Kate Bosworth.
In an online travel blog for Vogue, the actress appears to have leaked the news that the pair are engaged.
"On our first day in Seoul, my fiancé, Michael Polish, and I venture out to discover Changdeokgung Palace," writes Bosworth.
She says nothing more about their romantic status, but does go on to describe exploring ancient towers, pavilions and beautiful secret gardens.

There's nothing that a little dancing couldn't fix for Kate Bosworth and boyfriend Michael Polish at the Swarovski afterparty for the CFDA awards at Top of the Standard in New York City on Tuesday night.
The couple had a "minor tiff" at one point during the soiree, with an eyewitness telling PEOPLE, "They were arguing on the dance floor and Kate walked away from him, and he grabbed her back, and they continued arguing."
But the dispute was apparently short-lived.
"The two eventually made up, danced and were all lovey-dovey in the end," the source says.
Bosworth and Polish weren't the only ones shimmying on the dance floor.
Rachel Zoe and hubby Rodger Berman seemed equally entertained, while grooving to tunes spun by DJ Mia Moretti.
