Kate Walsh got up close and personal with some sharks and even a sea turtle during a six-day trip to Belize beginning on June 8, which marked World Oceans Day. The actress, a guest of Oceana, visited the country to raise awareness about protecting the world's oceans, but also found time to snorkel and check out local landmarks.
"Belize's barrier reef is amazing!" she Tweeted. "Did u know it's the 2nd largest reef in the world?"

Kate Walsh has a new man.
The Private Practice actress, 43, is happily dating writer and dad of two Chris Case.
"They met through friends," says a source. "He thinks she's amazing."
The cozy couple spent part of their summer vacationing in Greece together. "They're very happy."
Walsh, who split from husband Alex Young in 2008, dated Neil Andrea for more than a year.

Kate Walsh Feels 'Like a Loser' for Not Having Kids

She's the star of a hit TV show, but that's not enough to make Kate Walsh feel complete.
The Private Practice star says she's expected to be settled down and have kids by now.
"I feel like a loser [for not having kids]. I would definitely love to be a parent," Walsh, 43, tells More magazine, on newsstands Tuesday. "But I definitely don't think I want to do it on my own."
Walsh says she expected more of a balance between her Hollywood career and her personal life. "I thought I'd be married and have three or four kids," she admits. "I always knew I wanted to be an actress, but I think I always wanted a quote-unquote normal life."

Kate Walsh and her ex, film executive Alex Young, are now legally free to wed other people.
Earlier this week, a Los Angeles judge dissolved the former couple's 14-month marriage. The Private Practice star and Young married in September 2007, but Young filed for divorce in November 2008, citing irreconcilable differences.
When the former couple reached a divorce settlement in February, Walsh and Young used a coin toss to divide some of their property. "One-half of the community property furniture and artwork to be divided by alternating picks after the flip of a coin to determine who will pick first," their settlement agreement read.

Kate Walsh and Ex to Flip Coin over Furniture in Divorce

Kate Walsh and ex-husband Alex Young have finalized their divorce, Los Angeles records show, but the final who-gets-what will come down to a coin toss.
"One-half of the community property furniture and artwork to be divided by alternating picks after the flip of a coin to determine who will pick first," their settlement agreement reads.
Young, a studio executive, will also receive $627,000 in the settlement as well as one-half of residuals for all work performed by the Private Practice star during their marriage. Walsh, 42, will be keeping ownership of a home, various bank accounts and a piano.
