Ty Simpkins currently stars as the young boy who gives a helping hand – and a hard time – to Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark in Iron Man 3, but there is much more to the New York City native, who has been acting since he was 3 months old.

Simpkins, 11, has already starred on two different daytime soaps (One Life to Live and Guiding Light), worked with Oscar winner Kate Winslet on three movies (All the Kings Men, Little Children and Revolutionary Road) and become the face of a new horror franchise (Insidious and Insidious: Chapter 2, expected later this year).

Titanic to Sail Again – But Will You Get Onboard?

It's the biggest Oscar winner of all time, but it's also a code word for disaster: Titanic.

Now, an Australian billionaire plans to recreate the legendary ship, and charge $1 million for a first-class cabin when his replica Titanic II re-traces the original 1912 route of the great ship that went down.

Once the new ship is built in China, its maiden voyage is scheduled for late 2016 and will hopefully go the full distance from England's Southampton to New York's West Side.

Its furnishings, said its financier Clive Palmer, will include a Turkish bath (just like on the original) and the ornate grand staircase which Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet descended in the 1997 James Cameron movie.

It will also have some things the original didn't: air-conditioning and enough lifeboats.

Kate Winslet has tied the knot with Richard Branson's nephew, Ned Rocknroll, her rep tells PEOPLE.

Before Peeta and Katniss broke box-office records, before Edward and Bella set tween hearts swooning, there was Jack and Rose.

Fifteen years ago, the youthful star-crossed lovers in 1997's Titanic – played by Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet – helped propel James Cameron's epic blockbuster into box-office history. The film earned $1.8 billion worldwide and scored 11 Oscars.

Now Titanic is sailing back into theaters on April 4, this time in 3D. To mark the re-release, which is taking place along with the 100th anniversary of the real sea disaster, PEOPLE spoke with Winslet and Cameron about their memories of the film – including a few surprises:

Titanic's 100th Anniversary Being Marked Around the Map

Deep-sea explorer Robert D. Ballard is such a renowned expert in his field that last year he was even parodied on 30 Rock. He's also been scrupulously profiled on 60 Minutes.

One particular accomplishment will place him squarely back into the spotlight this month, when, on April 14, the world marks the 100th anniversary of the one of the most romanticized tragedies of all time, the sinking of R.M.S. Titanic – the remains of which Dr. Ballard discovered on Sept. 1, 1985, at 12:48 a.m., 12,450 feet below.

"It was a very difficult hunt," Ballard, 69, recently said, with great understatement, at the Explorers Club in Manhattan. What he also announced is a soon-to-open interactive exhibition slated for Connecticut's Mystic Aquarium, devoted to his search for the wreckage of the ill-fated, "unsinkable" ship.

SAG Awards Honors The Help

"Dream big, dream fierce." The real-life ladies of The Help would have agreed with Viola Davis, it's worth it.

Accepting the trophy for female actor in a leading role for the period drama, Davis told the audience gathered at L.A.'s Shrine Exposition Center for Sunday night's Screen Actors Guild Awards: "What is there [in life] but a dream. You can't trade in your dream for another dream. I am so proud to be an actor."

It's an appropriate motto for a cast who were also recognized for their work in the film as an ensemble, the top honor of the night.

Golden Globes: The Artist, Meryl Streep & Claire Danes Win Big

Originally posted 01/15/2012 11:20PM

Despite an off-color remark or two from host Ricky Gervais, Sunday's 69th annual Golden Globe Awards proved to be something unexpected – family friendly.

Named best actress for the TV drama Homeland, Claire Danes said that when she won her first Globe, for 1994's My So-Called Life, she was only 15 – and was so overwhelmed that she forgot to thank her parents.

She made up for that oversight on Sunday, and pointed out her mother, Carla, sitting in the International Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Danes also thanked her husband, Hugh Dancy, "who keeps me sane and happy."

Throughout the evening, many winners took time to remember members of their families. The Artist's best comedy actor, Jean Dujardin, thanked "my beautiful and talented wife." (The movie was also named best picture comedy or musical.)
