Since her April arrival at the Heigl-Kelley household, Katherine Heigl's 6-month-old daughter Adalaide has wasted no time getting to know her new family, including the canine members.
"Fun with tummy time!" the actress Tweeted on Monday, sharing a photo of her little girl and dog Oscar curled up next to each other.

When Katherine Heigl and husband Josh Kelley adopted 10-month-old Naleigh from Korea in 2009, the new mom expected the mother-daughter bond to be strong and immediate.
Not so, the actress admits in an interview with German weekly newspaper, Bild am Sonntag. "People are always talking about the strong bond between mother and daughter, this magical connection – but we didn't have that," Heigl says.
She described the early days with Naleigh as "the hardest time in my life. ... I fought incredibly hard for my daughter to accept me as mother. Her rejection almost broke my heart."

Katherine Heigl hates balls, and she's found a kindred spirit in Rachael Ray.
On Friday's episode of the Rachael Ray Show, the talk show host announced a new partnership with Heigl and her animal charity, the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation, in which she'll donate $150,000 to help ongoing efforts to raise awareness about spaying and neutering.
"Their $150K will help us save so many pet lives," Heigl Tweeted. "Super grateful!" she added in response to a follower.

For Katherine Heigl, the decision to add a pair of shepherd mix puppies to her brood in October was an easy one.
"I always want animals in my life," she tells USA Weekend magazine, describing herself as a "mad dog lady."
The duo, named Flora and Tamber, joined an already-crowded household, also home to miniature schnauzers Romeo and Stella, mix-breed Piper, schnoodle Wheezer, and Scar, the "hotcake" hound. But the newest additions proved to have a bigger impact on Heigl's husband, Josh Kelley, than the actress herself.

Katherine Heigl says she and husband Josh Kelley have always had a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to cheating. But now, she admits, she's not so sure.
"I've been debating this lately," the actress, 33, tells the January issue of British Cosmopolitan. "Josh and I always said that cheating would be a deal breaker; there is no second chance. But I've seen friends and acquaintances go through it and they've found a way back to the relationship, and a way to forgive each other."
Not that she's giving her husband of four years, and the father of her 3-year-old daughter Naleigh, a hall pass or anything. But perhaps a fling wouldn't automatically mean an end to their marriage.

Katherine Heigl may have been the celebrity guest on The Tonight Show Tuesday, but it was the actress who walked away star-struck.
During an appearance to promote her new movie New Year's Eve and her recently-launched neutering campaign, I Hate Balls, Heigl scored some one-on-one time with pool-playing pooch Amadeus.
"How cute is that little dog?" she says in a backstage video where she cuddles the Chihuahua and chats with owner Connie Baldwin. "He's so sweet!"

Katherine Heigl has a message for all the balls out there: She's out to get you.
It's been a busy fall for the actress, who only last month launched a new pet adoption initiative through her Jason Debus Heigl Foundation.
And now the ardent animal advocate is at it again, kicking off the I Hate Balls campaign, which aims to lessen the population of shelter animals by encouraging owners to neuter/spay their pets.

Getting 5,000 animals adopted in one month? Bring it on, says Katherine Heigl.
The actress and animal advocate has never shied away from helping pets in need, and now she's taking that enthusiasm one step further with a challenge.
"Super proud and excited to announce the Fall 5000 program," she Tweeted on Friday, sharing news about a new pet adoption initiative led by the Los Angeles Animal Alliance and the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation, which honors her late brother.
"Hoping to get at least 5000 animals adopted this month from LA city and county shelters!" she continued. "Encourage people to go to their local shelters and adopt!"

It was a perfect day for Perfect Couples star David Walton and actress Majandra Delfino: The pair tied the knot on March 18 in Miami.
