Rachel McAdams and new beau Michael Sheen grabbed a table for themselves at Tsunami Sushi in Baton Rouge, La., where Sheen is currently filming Breaking Dawn. According to onlookers, the couple was sitting side by side and looked "very cozy together. It was obvious they were romantically together." The two ordered off the menu and stayed for a few hours, enjoying the late night dinner while Sheen's castmates like Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz ate at the sushi bar in a group.

All Katherine Heigl wanted was a romantic hot tub date with her hubby Josh Kelley. Instead, the actress ended up on a bikini-clad date with the cops.
"It was just the two of us," Heigl, 31, told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM morning show Thursday. "It was like 8:30, 9 o'clock at night. [Josh] has been gone, he's been on tour. He's only home for three days ... We were totally just hanging out and making out in the hot tub – and by the way, it was so PG."
So what went wrong for the couple's night in? "This [neighbor] guy is always screaming at us," Heigl explains. "He starts screaming at us to go inside, and I'm like, 'I've had it. I've had enough of this. This is ridiculous. It's harassment, and I'm calling the police.' "

Josh Duhamel has locked lips on screen with Katie Holmes, Katherine Heigl and now, in a way, musician Josh Kelley.
"Personally, I'm a big fan of Katherine's husband, Josh Kelley, so kissing her in Life As We Know It was like indirectly getting to make out with him, " Duhamel, 37, tells Parade magazine, before adding: "Just kidding."
But Kelley wasn't crazy about watching his wife film a love scene.
"Josh didn't come around to the set during our big lip-lock," said Duhamel, "Katherine says he's never there when she has to do a make-out scene."

Katherine Heigl is finally letting go of her biggest bad habit.
To set a good example for her 20 month-old daughter, Naleigh, she is going to quit smoking. But the process hasn't been easy – so she's resorting to interesting ways of curbing her cravings.
"Now I use an electronic cigarette. I know it's ridiculous, but it's helping me not to actually smoke real cigarettes," the actress tells Parade.com. "I've been doing it for six months. Smoking sucks!"
She adds: "The one thing I would say to my kid is, 'It's not just that it's bad for you. Do you want to spend the rest of your life fighting a stupid addiction to a stupid thing that doesn't even really give you a good buzz?' "

Talk about a bad date: Before she married singer Josh Kelley nearly three years ago, Katherine Heigl says she endured a string of nightmare encounters that still makes her cringe. Meanwhile, dating just plain scared her screen costar, Josh Duhamel.
Speaking at Saturday's press conference in New York for their romantic comedy opening Oct. 8, Life As We Know It, the Grey's Anatomy Emmy winner, 31, says her worst date was with her personal trainer, when she was 18.
"I was like, 20 lbs. heavier and trying real hard to work it off at the gym and my trainer asked me out," the actress recalled. "He took me to Sizzler and gave me his head shot and asked me if I could get him in my agency. I knew it wasn't the extra 20 lbs. that turned him on!"

It's more than just puppy love. Katherine Heigl is behind a $1 million initiative to help no-cost spay and neuter programs in the Los Angeles area.
The Jason Debus Heigl Foundation, named in memory of the actress's late brother, will work with the Cesar Millan's Millan Foundation, the City and County of Los Angeles and various other organizations on the project, called the Compassion Revolution.
Heigl, who herself has six dogs, three of them rescues, told PEOPLEPets.com at the press conference to announce the pledge that she and her mother had felt hopeless and overwhelmed by the pet population crisis in L.A. Over 50,000 of 80,000 shelter animals in Los Angeles County were euthanized last year, according to the Heigl Foundation.

Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley's daughter really is a daddy's girl.
"The first thing she said was, 'Dada,' and then she'd call everybody else she loved 'Dada,'" Heigl says in the October issue of InStyle magazine of their daughter Nancy Leigh Mi-Eun (Naleigh). "She actually attached to Josh much faster."
The couple talked about adopting even before they were engaged, so when they adopted their baby girl a year later, the Life As We Know It actress says all her dreams came true.

Paging Dr. Stevens? Don't count on it.
Katherine Heigl is "not likely" to be back on Grey's Anatomy after the current season, according to a source close to the situation.
Heigl, who was due back on the set of the ABC medical drama after a three-month maternity leave but did not return to work, is negotiating her way out of her contract.
"The details, the timeline of that – it's all shades of gray," the source says. "The terms of her exit are still being sorted out."
In the most recent episode to feature Heigl, her character, Dr. Izzie Stevens, walked away from the Seattle Grace hospital, leaving viewers to wonder whether she'll be back at all.

On Grey's Anatomy, Dr. Izzie Stevens has been missing from Seattle Grace Hospital, and now the actress who plays her -- Katherine Heigl … hasn't been seen at work.
Although Heigl, 31, was scheduled to return to the set March 1 after three months of maternity leave, “she was not there,” a source close to the situation tells PEOPLE.

Izzie is back -- but her return could be short-lived.
After taking a three-month maternity leave to bond with her 15-month-old daughter Naleigh, whom she adopted in September with husband Josh Kelley, Katherine Heigl is due to return to the set of Grey's Anatomy on March 1. Two weeks later, the actress, 31, will travel to Las Vegas to accept the ShoWest award for Female Star of the Year, a film-industry honor previously won by the likes of Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston.
Is the award yet another sign that Heigl -- who took a five-episode hiatus from Grey's earlier this season to film the romantic comedy Life As We Know It with Josh Duhamel -- is ready to depart Grey's to focus full-time on her film career?
"It wouldn't be a shock," says a source close to the show. By the time Grey's airs the finale of season 6 in May, Heigl will have been absent from roughly half of its 24-episode run.
