Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise's Mother-Daughter Flea Market Day

Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise seemed to enjoy a laid-back morning at a flea market in Milford, Conn., on Sunday.
The mother-daughter duo arrived at 11:30 a.m., making it just before closing with a woman who appeared to be a nanny.
"They were really cute together," an onlooker tells PEOPLE. "Suri was pointing things out, saying, 'Look at this, mommy,' and Katie said, 'Oh, yes, that's great!' They seemed really happy."
Holmes, who looked just like any other mom casually strolling around the market, was dressed down and "seemed very relaxed," the source says, adding that she picked up a picture frame from a vendor and was showing it to the woman who accompanied them.

Talk about a creative day out!
On Tuesday, Suri Cruise stepped out for an afternoon filled with arts and crafts in New York City with her mom, Katie Holmes, and her grandmother, Kathleen, at Make Meaning on the Upper East Side.
Right away, Suri ran towards the toys – but this wasn't a shopping trip. Instead of treating her to new trinkets, the trio ended up on the second floor, not in a private room, painting ceramics.
Suri went after "every color in the rainbow," says a source at Make Meaning, which offers up to 50 activities, including jewelry making. She even tried her hand at decorating mugs, ceramic unicorns and a dog bowl.
"Katie was very hands-on," says the source. "There was a lot of back and forth between mother and daughter. Suri was totally immersed in the creativity."

Charlize Theron is a new mom, but that's not stopping her from stepping out.
The A-list star, 36, attended a luncheon on Wednesday, sponsored by Jimmy Choo and The Hollywood Reporter, honoring her stylist Leslie Fremar, along with many more of Tinseltown's most fashionable.
One guest at the event, which was held at Soho House in West Hollywood, congratulated Theron on the news that she has adopted a baby boy named Jackson, to which the actress said, "Oh, thank you!"

Adam Sandler isn't up for an Oscar this year, but his work did not go unrecognized.
The comedian, 45, has earned 11 nominations between three movies from the Golden Raspberry Awards – or the Razzies – which honor the worst in film.
But that's not the worst of it: Sandler's work – as either actor, writer or producer – on Jack & Jill, Bucky Larson and Just Go With It surpassed Eddie Murphy's old record of five nods. Sandler's nominations include worst picture, worst screen couple, worst screenplay, worst rip-off, worst actor, worst actress and worst screen ensemble.

Connor Cruise, the son of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, celebrated his 17th birthday with a charity bash at the Staples Center in Los Angeles this week – but it was his sister, Isabella, who made news.
Bella, 19, introduced her date Eddie Frencher, who is in his early 20s, as her "boyfriend" at the party, where aspiring deejay Connor spun records in the Hyde Lounge and played Just Dance 3 with friends and his big sis.
"They were together the whole night," a guest at the party tells PEOPLE of Bella and Eddie. "They were sitting together watching the game and sang 'Happy Birthday' to Connor standing side by side."

Tom Cruise: 'Every Day I Fall More in Love' with Katie Holmes

The parties just don't stop for Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes this holiday season. The couple celebrated their five-year anniversary last month and her 33rd birthday on Dec. 18.
"Every day I fall more in love with her," Cruise, 49, told PEOPLE at the New York premiere of Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol on Monday at the Ziegfeld Theatre. "It's been quite an amazing five years because of her. She's an incredible woman. She's everything to me."
To mark her birthday, the couple enjoyed a Big Apple tradition at the Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring The Rockettes with daughter Suri, 5, and her grandparents, Kathleen and Martin Holmes.

Suri Cruise Visits FAO Schwarz

It's not typical for little Suri Cruise to come off as anything but ladylike. But on Thursday, the heels-wearing 5-year-old went from glad to sad in record time!
She was calm headed into NYC's toy superstore FAO Schwarz with mom Katie Holmes, who turns 33 Sunday, in tow. But, once inside, there was a mini meltdown spotted.
Seen crying through the store window, Cruise was clutching stuffed animals as Holmes tried to console her.
Thankfully, whatever mom said worked and Cruise left the shop with a new purchase and dry eyes.

After premiering Jack and Jill in L.A., Katie Holmes headed to New York City for some quality time with daughter Suri. The two were spotted walking around Chelsea Piers Sports & Entertainment Complex together. The mother-daughter duo held hands as they strolled, and a camera-shy Suri covered her face with a stuffed Little Giraffe doll as she headed outside. – Dahvi Shira
