A sea of pink-clad guests mingled on a pink carpet, amongst pink lights, sipping pink cocktails. The only thing not drenched in the hue? The event hosts Amy Grant and Kellie Pickler.

The First Lady is going country – Michelle Obama will make a cameo on TV's Nashville!
Obama, 50, will star as herself on the show May 7, ABC announced. Kellie Pickler is also set to appear in the episode, which finds country music queen Rayna James (Connie Britton) organizing a charity concert at Army base Fort Campbell in Kentucky.
The guest spot marks the latest stop on Obama's TV tour: She's visited the sets of Sesame Street, iCarly, and The Biggest Loser to promote physical fitness and healthful eating for her Let's Move! initiative.

Kellie Pickler has a confession: She hasn't really had the chance to put the 'sin' in Sin City.
"I've never been able to go to Vegas and be a tourist," she tells PEOPLE. "Every time I go, I never get to go and play. I hope to get to do that soon – just go and watch a show."
Hopefully that'll be the case this weekend, when the songstress attends the ACM Awards with husband Kyle Jacobs, who's nominated for single record of the year for producing Lee Brice's "I Drive Your Truck." "I'm a huge fan of the song," she shares. "I remember Kyle playing it for me when he first found that song for Lee, and I was like, 'This is going to be a big song.' So I'll definitely be in his corner [on Sunday]."

Former Dancing with the Stars champ Kellie Pickler returned to the dance floor Saturday for a charity event in Nashville.
The country star performed at the Ballet Ball 2014, which raises money for programs that bring dance classes to local children.
"Kellie did an amazing job performing at Ballet Ball, which benefits Nashville Ballet. It was fun to see dancers bring her songs to life, and she even showed off a few of her own dance moves!" a source tells PEOPLE. "She told the dancers they looked like angels and she has a sincere appreciation for what they can do."

Wearing camouflage leggings and rhinestone boots, Kellie Pickler was thousands of miles away from home on Christmas Day, but she smiled as she looked out at her audience from her makeshift stage.
The country singer was in Kandahar, Afghanistan, with her husband, Kyle Jacobs, on her seventh USO tour. "There's no place I'd rather spend Christmas," she reportedly told the troops.
The former American Idol contestant, who has been working with the USO since 2007, and was on a nine-day tour in the Middle East and has been sharing pics of her experience on Twitter.
