Some things just get better with age – just ask Dierks Bentley.
He performs in a pair of WWII paratrooper boots, drives a '94 pickup, and at the age of 39, "I'm in the best shape of my life," says the singer.
We noticed – and that's one reason he made it onto PEOPLE Country's Sexiest Men list, along with 51 other hot country guys.
Luke Bryan took top billing this year, and while pal – and former title holder – Blake Shelton still holds his own on the list, Bryan couldn't resist having a bit of fun at Shelton's expense.

Finally! We've been waiting all summer long for Kenny Chesney's No Shoes Nation tour to make its way to New York – okay, New Jersey – and the time has arrived.
On Thursday, the singer took the "no shoes" part of his tour name seriously, shedding his footwear in Bangor, Maine, as pictured.
So, as PEOPLE gets ready to make our annual pilgrimage for what will undoubtedly be a day of great music, check out this playlist full of old and new Chesney hits that have been getting us in the mood.

Country's finest are showing off a little skin – and a lot of charm.
"I hate looking at pictures of myself!" Tim McGraw insists. But one glimpse at the 46-year-old singer's ripped abs, which are featured in the new Hot Guys issue of PEOPLE Country, and we'll respectfully disagree.
Equally compelling eye candy? Fellow country stars Jake Owen, 31, and Kip Moore, 33, who also go shirtless in the new issue. But, as Owen explains, that buff beauty is more than skin deep.

Chances are, unless it involved an icy beverage, a sparkling pool or a chaise lounge, you couldn't be bothered to do it this weekend.
So crank up the air conditioning and catch up on what you missed:

Kenny Chesney is having a field day with his down time.
Currently out on his No Shoes Nation Tour, the country star, 45, took a break from the stage to practice his football skills alongside the Seattle Seahawks at the Virginia Mason Athletic Facility in Renton, Wash. on Friday.
"I met [the team's coach] Pete a couple of years ago at our show at the Tacoma Dome," Chesney says of his invitation to the country star.

Sun-bleached straw hat? Check. Tanned toes digging into the sand of a Florida beach? Check. Cut-off T-shirt showing off those well-honed biceps? Check and, oh, yes, double check.
It's a look that's helped make Kenny Chesney country's favorite beach boy and win him a string of Entertainer of the Year trophies – and the title of People Country's Hottest Guy 2013.
But while the person staring out at the water this morning looks like the same fast-forward-living superstar who's been selling out stadiums and racking up hit singles for more than a decade, the singer admits he doesn't feel the same. And there's an intensity and thoughtfulness about him that hints at a man who wants to dig a little deeper.

It's quite the power trio at the head of this year's nominations for the CMT Music Awards.
Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan and Eric Church each picked up four nominations Monday, PEOPLE can reveal exclusively. They are followed by country veterans Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney and Rascal Flatts, as well as first-time nominees Florida Georgia Line, with three nominations each.
Carrie Underwood, who led last year's nominations with five (and won video of the year), has two nods this year. She is joined by Taylor Swift, Brad Paisley, Tim McGraw, Hunter Hayes, Jana Kramer, Kacey Musgraves, Little Big Town and the rock group Journey.

With the passing of country icon George Jones, many will remember the singer's mythical stories of hard-living and never showing up for concerts.
But Kenny Chesney says his friend was a supportive force in his life when he was just starting his career. And he recalls opening up for Jones during his reunion tour with Tammy Wynette in 1995.
"I thought I'd made it," Chesney said in a statement Friday. "Then one night, George asked me if I was heading home because he and [his wife] Nancy had a plane, and they'd take me. I remember sitting on that jet, thinking, 'This can't be happening.' Because he was George Jones and I was some kid from nowhere. I'm sure he knew, but he was generous to kids chasing the dream and I never forgot it."
